Picked this up in the sales from PC World for £129 and what a surprise ! I expected it to be a mediocre monitor for the price but how wrong I am. Took it out of the box and plugged it straight in, no drivers to load, just changed the display settings to 1680x 1050. Makes surfing, spreadsheets etc so much easier to use than my old 21" CRT despite my PC being a little past it. Not a great gamer so can't really comment on performance when gaming but ... Two months down the line and the monitor has only developed one lit pixel, which is so small and discreet, I'm not sure if it was there when I bought the monitor and hadn't noticed. I bought this screen a while back for about a Hundred pounds. i used it to replace my old CRT which was taking up a lot of space. THE SPEC At the time it had a good spec with a good luminance of 300 cd/m2. this is still quite bright for the standards of today and is brilliant for desk work and surfing. to tell you the truth it is really good with your games console and is great to watch movies. I have recently bought this monitor and have been pleased with what i have seen so far, it is great value for money and offers a general all-round multi-purpose widescreen monitor.
