A MUST-NOT for your PC...
Review of AG Neovo X20AV by Mr.Freeman

Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: You'll soon find out why its cheap...

...in recent years. The AG screen is by far one of the cheapest monitor screens for computers you can buy (hence why my college has so many). The screen, although resiliant to the aggresive use of students has so many flaws to it that it would be inconceivable for another to buy such a screen. The screen only has to be brushed and smudges appear which take a lifetime to 'work' out. Quite often, the colour contrast settings will abruptly change and ...
...is limited due to the alluminium alloy on the outside and they sometimes hum in warm weather...Strange I know.... So should you lower your budget, I do not suggest purchasing an AG unless you enjoying irritating humming noises, colour displays in the middle of important work and the heaviness. ... Read review

Philips Brilliance 200W6CS
Review of Philips Brilliance 200W6CS by lucasade1

Advantages: Size
Disadvantages: cost

I received my Philips 200W6CS yesterday and am pretty happy with it so far, Having a widescreen does make quite a difference to me. The colours seem set more vibrant on this but apart from them being smaller there is really no real difference in the clarity of them compared to the Videoseven screen updated from. I have tested the gaming performance and it is much improved on Freedom Force there is only a little loss of focus if you move the mouse ...
...but it does not blur colours or blacks like before, with Prince of Persia WW it's much improved too, Before the Prince had a black afterglow around him now there is nothing I can see. The monitor does have the much talked about Backlight bleeding issue as on the Dell monitors (in all four corners when screen is displaying black) Picture included, and I can that see the black is not true black this was more noticeable in Doom3 as when I first run ... Review of NEC MultiSync LCD1770NX by owais997

Advantages: circular base, smooth, rounded edges with easy height and tilt and swivel adjustability

...display does not pivot. The viewing angle loses contrast pretty quickly when moving left to right in front of the screen, but I found text to be very legible, even at small point sizes. Straight out of the box, and without adjustment, the LCD1770NX display had a distinct blue cast, most noticeable in gray areas of an image. However, I was able to achieve a good neutral gray and accurate color using the manual calibration controls on the front of ... Read review

Lovely monitor
Review of HP W2007v by B_O_M_B_A

Advantages: Clear screen, easy set up, cheap
Disadvantages: sometimes text unclear.

I recently purcahsed this monitor from John Lewis at a very reasonable price, lower than i see it available today. The monitor itself was ready to go straight from the box. The brightview technology is superior to a standard CRT or even 99% of LCD monitors i have seen, the picture is clear and crisp and shows photos off magnificently. A small downfall is that sometimes when reading text it can be slightly blurry, but all you need to do then is use ...
...happens once in a month if that. the 1000:1 contrast ratio is fine for this sized screen, blacks are brilliantly black and highlight the colours, the clearscreen is clearly the way forward in the future. I would suggest this Monitor too all but especially those who play computer game, watch tv or films on their comp, not neccessary for those who just use the internet etc. The black rim around the edge also highlights the monitor, similar to the samsung ...
