BenQ...putting the S in Satisfactory!
Review of BenQ G2400W by cobainkurdt

Advantages: Nice sleek design, colour performance!
Disadvantages: Quite a few!...no audio loudpeaker !!!!!

...my best friend has this BenQ wide format TFT screen. This multiple use screen can be used for a variety of tasks: from checking your email to watching a HD movie or even playing HD games via the HDMI port.. Also, its relatively cheap! However apart from the above advantages there are no other advantages (I watch movies, play games and even surf the net on the monitor every other day...so believe me when I say there are no other major advantages.) ...
...(you can see why it is relatively cheap)....(But I believe for what it's worth, it's very overpriced should be 180-220 pounds!.) Basically one of the biggest disadvantages is that this TFT monitor posseses no audio loudspeaker! Therefore you have to either buy a seperate speaker system or use headphones ( my friends bought a wireless system which allows us both to listen to the monitor....however the price is quite dear!....BenQ certainly did not ... LG, Lifes Good
Review of LG M228WA by cbgordon2

Advantages: HD Nice big Widescreen, lots of inputs
Disadvantages: No built in digital tuner

Fabulous LG 22" LCD HD TV. Its great parents got it for me for chrismas, screen is bigger than I thought, available at ebuyer for £229 free delivery. Input options includes, TV, AV1, AV2,Component, RGB, and DVI. Remote control is nice, blue light on the on button, it doesn't go on standby mode, it switches right of by the button which is a plus for me. It instantly starts up. Very stylish design , nice black finish which looks very sleek in my ...
...VGA output for PC input, which I use. Works nicely with my Freeview Set top box too. Also I use it as a dual screen for my computer. Can't really tell you about the quality, as I don't have anything HD like to plug it into it, but If I got a Wii or x box to plug into it or something, I'd update this review. Dislikes of the item are... No built in digital tuner Scart to set-top box sometimes falls out when I move the system Some other things ... Read review

You get what you pay for...
Review of Samsung SyncMaster 245B by Captainbirdseye2

Advantages: Price
Disadvantages: Poor Viewing Angles, Uneven Colours

After hearing Rave reviews I bought one of these at around £310. I was really looking forward to getting it, Anyway I was really disappointed, the big problem with this monitor is that the image isn't consistent across the screen. It uses the cheaper TN LCD panel and because the screen is so big you really notice the poor viewing angle. The screen is noticeable darker at the top than the bottom. To sum up, you get what you pay for, if you want ... Read review

A brilliant 22" widescreen monitor from Samsung.
Review of Samsung SyncMaster 226CW by Diamondblade2006

Advantages: Bright, colourful, well defined image. Easy to use. Superb build quality.
Disadvantages: None - except the gloss finish could get fingerprinty.

...gaming enthuiasts happy. Samsung certainly are no Scrooges when it comes to providing goodies in the box. They very kindly give you both a VGA (standard analogue) monitor cable and a DVI (digital) cable for enhanced picture quality with compatible graphics cards. Included also is a driver CD which unfortunately is XP only, though you can download Vista drivers from the Samsung website and a nice blue polishing cloth. A basic tilt-only stand completes ...
...flap that isn't too difficult to remove. On connecting to my Dell desktop via the DVI cable, the picture appeared nice and vibrant, with well-defined colours, sharp text and only a little backlight leakage on the bottom edge. In my opinion, the picture looks fine as it is. No tweaking was required, though if you want to adjust the picture, you get the usual brightness, contrast and colour control modes which are accessed using the hidden buttons ... Read review
