I bought this for two reasons, one to replace my existing 15" Proview monito and the second to run my Xbox 360 on in High Definition. The high contrast ration and the 5ms Black to Black refresh (2ms grey to grey) looked like it would ideally suit high definition gaming, especially with the native resolution being 1680 x 1050 so almost 1080p resolution. The widescreen display is brilliant, the colours clear and crisp and the refresh rate suits the games perfectly. I have noticed that you do occasionally get some 'ghosting' but this tends to happen on older, less advanced games such as the Xbox Live Arcade games. I bought this screen a while back for about a Hundred pounds. i used it to replace my old CRT which was taking up a lot of space. THE SPEC At the time it had a good spec with a good luminance of 300 cd/m2. this is still quite bright for the standards of today and is brilliant for desk work and surfing. to tell you the truth it is really good with your games console and is great to watch movies.
