Review of GNR TS902W by simon5800

Advantages: very bright
Disadvantages: no dvi cable

got this today and unpacked it, was well packed and screen protected from scratches. first impressions are good with good quality colours and appears bright and has good viewing angles. text appears clear and easly readable even at high resolutions. was a bit disapointed as no dvi cable is supplied., comes with a vga power and seeaker cable to contect to your computer. speakers are ok on it for usual office stuff not too great for music though, but ... Flatscreens all the range!
Review of GNR F153 by techymasterj

Advantages: sleek, stylish, affordable
Disadvantages: hasnt got DVI

...if you have a problem, GNR will come to your door step and swap it - cant be bad! I also like the integrated speakers - you cant see them because they are in the back - again no more external speakers so loads of desk room. The battery supply is also integral, it takes a kettle lead that plugs in the back, I dont know how they got this so slim but the picture quality is great! If you do not have a TFT monitor, this is the one I would suggest to ... Read review

So cheap you can afford two, & good quality too.
Review of GNR TS501 Ultra Slim by matthewhardy

Advantages: Excellent value for money, small, light, neat and stylish
Disadvantages: Slightly hard on the eyes in prolonged use

I bought my GNR TS501 on Ebay for £69 plus P&P so I really had nothing to lose in the price department. It's outstanding value for money and works well! Having used it for a few months now, it is sometimes a bit hard on the eyes. Maybe I should try to look away every so often. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this screen as outstanding value for money. Readily available discounted because of its small size, but really who needs more than 1024x768 ...
...do much worse than the GNR TS501. The narrow bezel (narrowest available I believe) means that you can gang up two monitors with only a 16mm blank space between them. Because it's so inexpensive, this monitor opens up a world of possibilities - second monitors, duplicate monitors for video projection etc - that weren't possible even a few years ago. Get in there! ... Read review

GNR TS900 cheap and excellent value
Review of GNR TS900 by alanbishop

Advantages: there are many, please read review
Disadvantages: absolutely none

Personally I do like this screen. Its large enough to have multiple applications open at once and colours are also great. It has an ultra fast response time of 8ms. It probably isnt the best for avid gamers (even though I used to game on it and never had any problems with colours/shadows/response rate) but for personal/home/business use its hard to be beaten. After 1 year of use over 8 hours per day it has not once let me down in any way. I left ...
...one night (I forgot to switch it off) and did not burn to the screen. Its incredibly slim and really will fit anywhere. On my small desk its a life space saver and really would never go back to a normal screen. Its big enough to watch a film and offers a really good alternative to buying a seperate TFT for watching films. The functions are very simple and easy to use though once set you probably would not use them again. Verdict: cant go wrong ... Read review

Promises so much, Delivers so little - Avoid!
Review of LG Flatron L227WT by Steboyuk

Advantages: Looks
Disadvantages: Actualy quality of the product

Having owned this monitor for around 6 months, and with no reviews wrote on it so far, I feel it needs one. Personally, I have always liked this screen. It is definatly a massive improvement on my old big Screen. It looks stunning on your desk, and the picture always looked fine, espeically on quick moving action, say I if I were streaming live sport for example! However, it didnt wow me as much as I wouldve hoped considering the price I paid, ...
...equipment instantly writed it off and claimed it was a shocking monitor considering the price. Having looked further into this, I can see see why - tests done on the screen show that the color fidelity is shockingly bad, for example one result is that they are totally off. With default settings the average difference is 7.8 and this is one of the worst measurements we've taken in the last few years. Not a single color is well rendered! In general, ... Read review
