Pretty much faultless
Review of HP L1950 by
alimason
Advantages: flexible, dust free, good picture quality
Disadvantages: possibly extra expenditure
I have been using this monitor for the last 8 months and i must say that i have been very impressed by it. Although i have only used 3 other monitors before i can say that is definitely the best i have come across. Firstly the good things: well, unlike my laptop and monitor at home this one does not seem to be a dust magnet meaning that at work i very rarely have to wipe down the screen and the picture on screen remains dust free. The size of the ... ...and size of the housing. The screen is 19in which compared to my smaller laptop of 17in and by huge desktop which is 22in is ideal, it doesn't take up too much space but is perfect for viewing smaller print and doing intricate designs. The housing is also a good size and unlike traditional monitors it takes up very little space n my desk.
One of my favourite features of this monitor is its 'flexible' base, which allows it to be moved to face all ...

A little brother TFT to our 19 inch monsters
Review of HP L1706 by
andycharger
Advantages: Great picture, good colour depth, good features
Disadvantages: No sound
...user here at work of HP products nowadays. The reasoning behind this is we need reliability and quality of service and products. We want a good product that is robust enough to last the test of time with the staff!
So while I was giving my IT team and developers were a huge screen resolution to maximise their working space, I opted for the little brother equivalent for the general office floor. After all, screen size is a little less important and ... ...even compliments the new DC7700 HP Pcs we have just purchased. In fact it is an identical copy of the L1906 I have already reviewed but with 2 inches less to view!
This screen is very responsive and has excellent refresh rates and depth of colour. This is equally at home in the office for diplaying presentations and general work or for lightning quick action games at home. It also offers a terrific crisp and clear picture and the screen delivers ...

HP w1907
Review of HP W1907v by
mriches-design
Advantages: neally everything!!!!
Disadvantages: could do with a DVI input
I purchased 2 of these from PC World today and i have been very impressed!!!! I have linked these to my VGA controller so i can have 2 monitors running together showing different things.
For example - I have Ciao on one screen and Windows Media Player on the other.
Anyway they were £139.99 in PC World and i thought this was superb value for a 19" widescreen TFT. It was well packaged, came with the usual 500 different language book, etc.....
It ... ...makes the monitor screen seem to stand out. My old silver framed one during the day when the sun was out, there was galre on the screen but this monitor seems to not reflect despite its glossy coat!!
It has the usual VGA input and i wouldn't expect a DVI for £140!!!! It has the standard IEC power inlet and the power button is located on top of the screen so if you are watching a film, you do not get an annoying light below the screen.
All in all ...

HP w2207 A great monitor
Review of HP W2207 by
Kingmark1894
Advantages: Great Picture quality
Disadvantages: Software is poor
When i first got the monitor i was blown away by the screen quality. The glossy finish made all the colours stand on edge. Also you could turn the screen 90 degrees so that it is in portrait mode. This is great for things like Microsoft word and viewing pictures. There are two USB ports on the side which is useful for things like usb sticks and webcams. The only thing i can complain about is the software provided. It does not seem to work so i just ... ...is not essential and there are many 3rd party softwares which can do the same job. Overall this is an excellent screen and well worth the money. However if you were looking for a monitor that gives excellent colour accuracy i would not buy this because some of the colours are adjusted by the glossy finish ...

The Hannsg HG216DP Review!!
Review of HANNS.G HG216DP by
TheTechGuy0
Advantages: Perfect picture on native resolution, HDMI Port, satisfactory design and no blurring.
Disadvantages: Bad speakers; not terrible, bad HD quality, text breaks down and hard monitor base installation
The Hannsg HG216DP monitor is a 22" monitor; with an aspect ratio of 16:10.It comes with a VGA port and an HDCP port, the latter allowing connection to a HD games console or a digital connection when connected to a PC through a HDMI>DVI Adapter. However the VGA port should provide a similar quality experience, the only problem is that it's bound to get some interferance; this is very rare though and i am yet to experience such a thing. This monitor ... ...the resolution is lowered the text starts to break down very badly and is barely readable from a distance of a metre or so. This text breaking also reduces the prospect of a good PS3 HD gaming experience as 720p. This is as 720p is a resolution of 1280 x 720; hence 720, when the monitor is set to this resolution the text breaks down..... ...
