HP w1907
Review of HP W1907v by mriches-design

Advantages: neally everything!!!!
Disadvantages: could do with a DVI input

I purchased 2 of these from PC World today and i have been very impressed!!!! I have linked these to my VGA controller so i can have 2 monitors running together showing different things. For example - I have Ciao on one screen and Windows Media Player on the other. Anyway they were £139.99 in PC World and i thought this was superb value for a 19" widescreen TFT. It was well packaged, came with the usual 500 different language book, etc..... It ...
...makes the monitor screen seem to stand out. My old silver framed one during the day when the sun was out, there was galre on the screen but this monitor seems to not reflect despite its glossy coat!! It has the usual VGA input and i wouldn't expect a DVI for £140!!!! It has the standard IEC power inlet and the power button is located on top of the screen so if you are watching a film, you do not get an annoying light below the screen. All in all ... Read review

Pretty much faultless
Review of HP L1950 by alimason

Advantages: flexible, dust free, good picture quality
Disadvantages: possibly extra expenditure

I have been using this monitor for the last 8 months and i must say that i have been very impressed by it. Although i have only used 3 other monitors before i can say that is definitely the best i have come across. Firstly the good things: well, unlike my laptop and monitor at home this one does not seem to be a dust magnet meaning that at work i very rarely have to wipe down the screen and the picture on screen remains dust free. The size of the ...
...and size of the housing. The screen is 19in which compared to my smaller laptop of 17in and by huge desktop which is 22in is ideal, it doesn't take up too much space but is perfect for viewing smaller print and doing intricate designs. The housing is also a good size and unlike traditional monitors it takes up very little space n my desk. One of my favourite features of this monitor is its 'flexible' base, which allows it to be moved to face all ... Read review

A good example of a widescreen flat panel monitor.
Review of HP W19 by sg1queen

Advantages: Silver effect, Neat design.
Disadvantages: Can't be tilted, only sits upright

I have been using this monitor now for 6 months, and i don't know how i coped before without a widescreen. I use spreadsheets very often and it's so nice to be able to see more columns than before, due to the extra width. I have found it to be very sturdy, and have a good picture quality. No blown pixels as yet. It has an auto configure button to adjust the brightness and contrast which works well. It is tempting to try to turn it off by pushing ... Read review

Lovely monitor
Review of HP W2007v by B_O_M_B_A

Advantages: Clear screen, easy set up, cheap
Disadvantages: sometimes text unclear.

I recently purcahsed this monitor from John Lewis at a very reasonable price, lower than i see it available today. The monitor itself was ready to go straight from the box. The brightview technology is superior to a standard CRT or even 99% of LCD monitors i have seen, the picture is clear and crisp and shows photos off magnificently. A small downfall is that sometimes when reading text it can be slightly blurry, but all you need to do then is use ...
...happens once in a month if that. the 1000:1 contrast ratio is fine for this sized screen, blacks are brilliantly black and highlight the colours, the clearscreen is clearly the way forward in the future. I would suggest this Monitor too all but especially those who play computer game, watch tv or films on their comp, not neccessary for those who just use the internet etc. The black rim around the edge also highlights the monitor, similar to the samsung ...
