NEC MultiSync LCD1770NX
Review of NEC MultiSync LCD1770NX by dansz

Advantages: Display quality, viewing angles, price
Disadvantages: Not quite as bright as some

For its price, an excellent quality monitor. If you are a graphics designer looking for colour calibrated monitors then go elsewhere, but as an IT Administrator I have two of these on my desk that I use for 9 hours a day. No eye strain, colour balance is good, image quality is superb. In our office we have over 30 of these and not one has developed a fault, dead pixel or any other problems. The image is consistent from one monitor to another as well ... Read review

A great monitor for a reasonable price
Review of NEC MultiSync LCD175VXM+ by pearlywhites

Advantages: supports great range of colour, responsive, easy to install, cheap, 3 year warranty
Disadvantages: speakers could be better

...in the form of the NEC MultiSync LCD175VXM+ for £130 in a stylish silver finish. For £130 you get a 17-inch LCD monitor with digital TN+ film TFT display, slightly smaller than my Liyama but in terms of colour and resolution it beats the pants of it destroying the myth you get what you pay for. The MultiSync LCD175VXM+ has a slim design so it looks nearly flat and came with a 3 year manufacturers warranty which added that like bit of peace of mind ...
...of cake as I had made room for the previous 22 inch monitor on my computer desk. There is only one cable required which is compatible with every known PC around and the adjustable stand meant that I could place it at the optimum height so I didn’t strain my neck when working at my desk. The MultiSync LCD175VXM+ has a screen resolution of 1280 x 1024 which supports 16.2 million colours all of which come out brilliantly. The actual brightness and ... Read review

Wonderfull LCD
Review of NEC MultiSync LCD1970NXp by 0ffspring

Advantages: A big screen
Disadvantages: Not comfortable joystick

Most of all, i would like to sign that fact that the screen is 19' - that is the most valuable advantage, furthermore, it is very stable and will not fall down from the table (as many people think). I enjoy playing games and wathing films on this 1280 x 1024 screen .No noise. Design will fit any room or office(i have got black and silver design - colours). Minimum of workplace onthe table(aprox. 20 square santimeters). Also i liked the ability ... Read review

Best Screen Thing
Review of NEC MultiSync LCD2070VX by LegendaryMrDude

Advantages: Resolution, Auto-Setup, Response Time, Price
Disadvantages: Doesn't generate as much heat so study is colder!

...obviously I did - an NEC MultiSync 2070VX to be precise. Bearing in mind the screen I'd been using for the last 5 years had been 21" at a resolution of 1600x1200 the bar was pretty much set - anything less would be a significant backward step. With a single-minded purpose, I set about scouring the interweb for an LCD screen that would provide 1600x1200 resolution at a decent screen size. There is a reasonable range of choices here, with prices starting ...
...possible I came across the NEC 2070vx for only £320. It offered everything I was looking for - the right resolution, a good refresh rate (5ms!) with both DVI and VGA inputs. We have NEC LCD screens at work so I was confident that it would be a high quality product. It came well packaged with European and UK power cords as well as VGA and DVI cables, a manual and a driver CD. Setup was trivial - the hardest part was taking my old monitor off the ... Read review

The Hannsg HG216DP Review!!
Review of HANNS.G HG216DP by TheTechGuy0

Advantages: Perfect picture on native resolution, HDMI Port, satisfactory design and no blurring.
Disadvantages: Bad speakers; not terrible, bad HD quality, text breaks down and hard monitor base installation

The Hannsg HG216DP monitor is a 22" monitor; with an aspect ratio of 16:10.It comes with a VGA port and an HDCP port, the latter allowing connection to a HD games console or a digital connection when connected to a PC through a HDMI>DVI Adapter. However the VGA port should provide a similar quality experience, the only problem is that it's bound to get some interferance; this is very rare though and i am yet to experience such a thing. This monitor ...
...the resolution is lowered the text starts to break down very badly and is barely readable from a distance of a metre or so. This text breaking also reduces the prospect of a good PS3 HD gaming experience as 720p. This is as 720p is a resolution of 1280 x 720; hence 720, when the monitor is set to this resolution the text breaks down..... ... Read review
