The Samsung SyncMaster 2232BW is the latest in Samsung's TFT monitors range and looks great. The monitor has a smooth design to it and beautiful curves which isn't common with TFT's. ...Weight 5kg. Overall the Samsung SyncMaster 2232BW is a decent TFT monitor; with a large 22inch widescreen display you can't really go wrong. I've used it for general use, gaming and watching movies. The fast 2ms response rate is very good for gaming and also delivers a sharp clear picture when watching movies. After upgrading to this monitor from a 17" TFT, I was very impressed with the difference. The obvious difference is the space you have for your desktop - 22", whilst not the biggest screen on offer, is more than enough to get plenty of working space on the desktop, and also offers a great view of games. It runs at a maximum resolution of 1680x1050, which makes games look extremely crisp. The response time is 5ms, again not the best but still fast ...
...casing itself is glossy black, and is nice and compact around the screen, so it doesn't look bulky on the desktop. It can also be tilted or swiveled to find the perfect viewing angle.
