Advantages Comfortable, Amazing sound quality, Fashionable
Disadvantages Cable is easily broken, Slightly overpriced
I purchased the Dr. Dre Solo Beats in red when i was in New York recently. I had heard a lot about these headphones, both good and bad. I wanted to experience them for myself and bought the official product from the Apple Store.
Sound QualityFor a compact pair of headphones, they have an immensely powerful and clear sound quality. From previously owning a simple pair of iPod earphones, the difference in sound quality is incredible. I felt immersed in the sound.
ComfortThese headphones are also relatively comfortable, however, i found that after long periods of listening, they began to feel slightly heavy and uncomfortable on my ears. However, this only happens for prolonged listening.
AppearanceThese headphones have a simple but effective design, which makes them the latest 'thing' in fashion accesories. For me, these are the most attractive headphones around today. I especially like the circular shape of them, as opposed to the uncircular shape of studio Beats.
NegativesThe only bad words i have to say about these headphones is that the cable is easily broken (this happened to me) and that they are a bit overpriced. They could do with being slightly cheaper in my opinion, but overall I think that they are worth the price.
