-- Reasons for buying --
I have tried so many face masks and tonics, most of which have irritated and caused my skin to breakout! My skin is fairly sensitive and knowing that Aloe Vera is supposed to be good for sensitive skin, when I saw this face mask I thought I may as well give it a try. My friend had also recommended this brand to me a while ago and after reading many positive reviews I didn't see any reason not to try it.
-- The packaging --
The face mask comes in a nice vibrant coloured, leaf shaped foil packet. The packet claims that the tonic contains natural ingredients, this particular tonic contains aloe vera and also green tea, which is know for it's anti oxidant properties as well as being calming to the skin and helping to protect against oxidative damage. This particular tonic is marketed as gentle cleansing for sensitive skin, although it would suit all skin types.
-- Directions --
You simply cleanse your face with warm water and soap to get rid of any make-up and free skin from all dirt and debris. You then need to remove the sheet from the packaging, there are holes for your eyes, nose and your mouth. When applying take the piece of material from the hole made from your mouth and place it over your nose, and then place the sheet on top. Leave this on for 5-10 mins and relax, once it is ready, after removing the sheet massage any of the excess product into your skin before continuing to rinse off with warm water.
-- Postivies --
It was very soothing and refreshing to my skin, as I've had many bad experiences with tonics before, I couldn't believe how great my skin felt after. Apart from a slight tingling sensation after apply, there was no irritation. My skin was very soft to the touch and my pores seemed much smaller in comparison to before applying the cloth. Another positive is the price, it was extremely cheap, especially as I got three for the price of one.
-- Negatives --
The only complaint I have is about the size of the cloth, it was extremely big. But you can manipulate the shape to fit your face a bit better. At least it wasn't too small, otherwise that could of been a problem.
-- Price and Availability --
I bought two face masks and this tonic for £1. Which I thought was an absolute bargain as usually they are about £1 each. They are widely available in most supermarkets and drugstores. I got these in a cheapy store which has recently opened near where I live called 'Home bargains' its a great store full of popular products, which have been amazingly reduced in price. Its fantastic, a much better version of Pound Land in my opinion!
-- Conclusion --
Overall I absolutely loved this product, it help my skin clear up leaving it soft and smooth without any irritation. At such a cheap price, I went back to Home Bargains and stocked up! Brilliant face tonic, I recommend on giving it a try to see if it works for you, even if it doesn't it such a small amount to pay and in my opinion such a small amount for a fantastic product!
Well reviewed. John
