If you read my reviews regularly you know I’m a keen fan of the products from Montagne Jeunesse. I use their face masques every week and enjoy doing so. So who is Montagne Jeunesse? They are a company that make cosmetic goodness for both males and females.
‘We’ve harvested ultra-deep cleansing Dead Sea Minerals to penetrate deep into pores drawing out impurities. Our Mud Pac is Nutrient rich with Seaweed & Kelp to help restore skins vitality leaving you cleansed to the core and totally relaxed’
After working a late shift at work it can really stress me out so the days I work lates I always try and opted for a ‘anti stress’ masque for the day after. This one is one of my favourites, it never fails to relax me and give my face that much needed wake up call. Each Sachet will give you one application however you can now also purchase these in larger tubs.
Suitable for –
To apply this masque you need to cleanse your face with warm water only, and then apply the mud masque evenly over face and neck using your fingertips, making sure you avoid the eyes and lips. Then its time to relax for 10-15 minutes or until the masque is dry. Personally when putting this masque on my face I love the feeling of smoothing it over my skin, its cool and smells very refreshing.
To remove the masque for me is the tricky part! They recommend that you rinse off with warm water; however I find it much easier and faster to use a face flannel. I simply wet the flannel and gently rub the masque off my face. Once the entire product has been removed then you just pat dry your face and jobs done.
When I have washed the product from my face I love how my skin looks and feels. My face really does feel like it has had a new lease of life. It is soft and smooth to touch and certainly feels refreshed, then to look at my skin it appears cleansed and that dull look has disappeared.
The masque is like a light aqua colour very creamy and thick to start with as I’m applying to my face, but once the product starts to dry the colouring goes a little darker. What I also like about this masque is that when it is drying on my face I don’t have that tightening feeling you can get with some other masques. Which makes the experience even more relaxing for me.
This masque is also –
The packaging I think is rather noticeable with its deep red colour then a bright aqua face smack bang in the middle. You have all the relevant information I would personally like to see all on the sachet. When it comes to opening the sachet to obtain the product you have a perforated edge you peal which makes it nice and easy to get the masque out. – still a little messy.
Even after the masque has been removed my face still feels wonderful a fresh, which then makes me feel happier as it really gets me down when my skin is feeling somewhat dull. The aroma from the masque also has a good staying power and lingers around my face for a good couple of hours. All and a very big plus in my books. They recommend for best results to use this masque weekly, so this is now my Monday morning masque routine!
You can purchase these Montagne Jeunesse sachets from supermarkets and the likes of Boots, Superdrug and Bodycare. So far I have found Bodycare to be the cheaper option at around 70p per pack. Most places retail these at the £1.09 mark. However on the Montagne Jeunesse web site you can get bumper pack deals and buy 4 for the price of 3.
I really enjoy using this masque, I love the results it gives to make skin and well my general well being in that it gives me that much needed time out and relaxation time. I would certainly recommend this masque to all that a willing to try.
Huge five out of five stars from me.
Thank you for reading.
