Veet Ready To Use Wax Strips - Not such a Perfect Finish!

Advantages: Nice smell, areas where hair WAS removed felt silky soft, wipes do remove excess wax
Disadvantages: Too many areas where hair WASN'T removed, price, speed, pain

Hi... Thought I'd share my (very recent) experience of Veet Ready To Use Wax Strips. Just to make clear now, the strips I used were part of the pink Complete Body Kit, consisting of 20 leg strips, 12 bikini/underarm strips, and 4 Perfect Finish wipes, and claiming to be effective on hair as short as 2mm. I'm 17 years old, normal, and to be honest, quite an optimist, so this is the first almost negative review I've given anything. The 'satisfactory' was moved up from a 'poor' because I felt mean! Usually, I'd use Veet cream (works like magic, if you're wondering) , but as I was in Boots to stock up these caught my eye. They were on a discount, and I'd wanted to try waxing, so I thought I'd give it a go. They cost me around £4-5, which, believe it or not, was half price. Review of Veet Ready To Use Wax Strips

An Easy And Mess Free Way To Wax Your Legs!

Advantages: Easy to use and effective
Disadvantages: A little pricey if you use them all the time, need more finishing wipes!

Not wanting to pay full price to get my legs waxed at a salon, and about to go on holiday, I decided to try these veet wax strips instead. I have tried waxing before where you have to heat the wax up and then have material strips to pull it off with, but I was really unsuccessful with them and made such a mess! These seemed like an easy alterative and there has been really good write ups in magazines about them so I thought I should try them out too! There are a couple of different version of these strips now (also brought out by 'Veet') but I have the ones with mint extracts for normal skin, which are the ones I am reviewing. The strips come in a yellow cardboard packet with 'Veet' written across the front of it. Review of Veet Ready To Use Wax Strips

Effective easy to use wax strips

Advantages: Simple and effective
Disadvantages: None

a few hairs. This problem has gotten worse the more I wax. I think because the hair is getting finer and more sporadic, it is more difficult for the wax strips to pick it up. I tend to go over my legs with an epilator after I have waxed. Although this might sound like a pain, it does mean I get the majority of the hair off quickly and painlessly (relatively!) with the wax strips and then the epilating doesn't take very long and doesn't hurt much because it is only picking up a few hairs. I find ready to use wax strips far superior to proper wax - it's cleaner, easier and from my experience, far more effective. These strips are very reasonable as well. About £5 for a box in Boots. A box lasts me two waxes so it's only £2.50 per go, compared with about £10 in a shop. Bargain! Summary: The best ready to use wax available ...
