More Than Car Insurance

Unfortunately our car was damaged by another car whilst we were stationary, waiting to pull away from a junction. We duly reported the accident to More Than Insurance and have regretted doing so ever since. Since informing them of the accident two months ago we have been interviewed on the phone twice by a very aggresive style by a young woman who would put the xxxxx to shame. You are made to feel as though you are guilty - but all we did was claim on our car insurance. We are not one of those people you see often hear about on the news who drive around without car insurance- we take our responsibilities very seriously and always have road tax and car insurance.

My wife works in a hospital and because she was late by five minutes for the appointed time of her call/interview from More Than Insurance (you can't simply just stop what you are doing in a caring profession) the tone of the young woman in her message she left on our answerphone was quite startling - stating that given that the interview will last twenty minutes and her department at More Than finished at 5:30 pm - we needed to make another appointment.

So far we have been treated as though we are criminals; even though the accident was not our fault and the other driver even agreed that he had hit us - he couldn't really say otherwise as he hit the car from behind.

The reason l have taken time to write this review (my first ever on the web) is that we have today received a letter from this lady at More Than Insurance asking to provide details of how many cars there are in our household, including company cars, the registered owners and can we provide registration documents for each car. Also she wants to know who is the main driver of every other vehicle and who bought the car and if they bought the car while living at home and have since moved out - she also wants their address.

In hindsight it was the worst move l ever made taking out car insurance with More Than Insurance. The second mistake was trying to claim on my insurance.

Today my wife and l have decided that we will pay for the damage to be repaired out of our own pocket rather than having to endure another round of interrogation from More Than Insurance.
