This book gives the story of Moreta's Last ride as mentioned in the Dragonflight/Dragonquest era of Pern. While it's not as compelling as the later timelines, it goes into depth about things glossed over in the harper ballads, and adds greater depth to the history and character of one of the most famous dragon-riders of Pern.
