That is one of the many offers going; also you can pick up laser printers for £300 and handheld pc’s for £250. These prices are all very impressive and one that caught my eye in the flyer was a bargain for a notebook, its spec was impressive too.
Celeron 600Mhz 6Gb hard disk 64Mb ram (expandable to 256 MB ram 24x cd drive and floppy drive 12” screen and a built in modem for just over £550.
You probably want to know by now how they offer these great prices. Morgan specialise in manufacturers overstock, surplus inventory end of line and hardware from companies that have gone bust. Most of the things listed like the HP computers are brand new and the only reason they are at Morgan is due to things like a computer retailer ordering too many, Morgan purchase these and them and sell for basement prices. Companies that have liquidated and gone into receivership sell their remaining items of hardware to Morgan, this includes printers, old laptops and computers, graphics tablets and scanners.
You can visit their site at www.morgancomputers.com and the site has all the latest offers on their new stock. On the site you can go to the bargain basement, if you search hard enough you can find some fantastic deals on old Pentium 2 base systems and old dot matrix printers. I myself have found some great deals and my last purchase was a pair of Aiwa SC-C48 10watt speakers for my sister’s computer. They cost me £14.99 which was well over a £20 saving. If you want to receive the monthly flyer you can leave your address on the site, I receive mine every month and it always contains new items for sale at low prices.
One of Morgan’s strong points is its great priced monitors; you can pick up monitors that have been barely used for dirt cheap compared to the prices in the shops. For instance a refurbished 17”monitor will set you back £83.99. But if you want a brand spanking new 17” monitor this will only cost you £93.99 which you must admit is an excellent price for a brand new monitor. Hey also sell flat screen monitors for under £250.They can sometimes come up with some cracking deals such as a deal for 20 cdr’s for under £7
So what about their service? Morgan only has 4 retails across England but they do offer free next day delivery on their computers. He stores are open from 9-5 and the London branch is open till a bit later than the others. The phone lines for ordering stay open for another hour though. There are many ways to order and when you have ordered all, non-computer items will be delivered inside a week. You can order via the site (either by he secure payment system or by sending an email), you can order by phone, Fax order, by post, credit card and with mail orders. This is very useful for teenagers who don’t have credit cards because you can order and pay by other means.
They 4 stores they do have are situated in
London: 64-72 new oxford street
Greenford unit 25 derby road
Birmingham 34 edgebaston shopping centre
Manchester 11-12 station approach, 100 yards from Piccadilly station.
To conclude you might feel this is one big advertisement, and it is. I have genuinely found great priced products at Morgan and I always check the site before I look elsewhere. Next I plan to buy some 64mb memory for my Mp3 player, it is on sale at £60 and in most shops this would cost you well over £100. If you want a cheap computer or some dirt cheap peripherals i would recommend that you visit Morgan first.
Advantages: Great range, great prices Disadvantages: Unreliable deliveries
...a number of years now, Morgan Computers offers great offers at knockdown prices, and sell anything from entire computer systems to battery upgrades to laptop computers.
The basic principle of the company is as follows – to purchase end-of-line stock, refurbish the stock accordingly to it’s original form, then sell it on to consumers and companies alike.
Their stock is as diverse as you can imagine, and if it’s related to computing ... ...difference whatsoever between their products, and high street products, except huge discounts.
To conclude, Morgan Computers is a great Aladdin’s cave of great value computer goodies, which will appeal to all, whether being a complete computer expert of a complete novice – they have something to cater for all. ...

Advantages: Value for money Disadvantages: Not the most up-to-date stock
The great thing about Morgan Computers is that what you see is what you get. Don't expect fancy sales talk, top of the range equipment or the like, but do expect good value for money if you are prepared to buy end of line stock. Reductions on high street and even online prices are considerable, though in the majority of cases you will have to sacrifice the irritating technical support premium rate phoneline that you would have had access to, had ... ...retailer - how dreadful!
The deal is that they buy up the end of line stock from famous names and then resell at a fraction of the original price, because the machines have been superseded. But maybe a lesser specification machine suits your needs. Sure, it may not be very upgradeable or as powerful as you'd like, but you can save a hefty sum if you know what you want to do and can find the machine there to do it.
With a monthly flyer to advertise ...

Advantages: cheap kit, good range. Disadvantages: are the laptops even inspected? poor quality.
...sadly let down.
Do Morgan actually recondition these units!? If anyone had turned it on, and used it for any period of time they would have noticed the screen fault, or the audio, or at the very least the fact the lid didn't close!
I found it difficult to get a refund, as they were trying to insist on a repair, but my lack of confidence in the company was my reason for refusal of this. I'm going to take my money elsewhere. Morgan: Try harder. ...

Advantages: Excellent Customer Service Disadvantages: Lack of details
I was looking for a desktop-replacement laptop (one of those 17inch mega-huge laptops).
So, I spent ages looking for one and couldn't pick one out of my list.
I went down to my local MicroAnvika store and fell in love with the HP zd7000 range and had to buy one. Well, the price at MicroAnvika was something like 1700 sterling.
So I decided to do some searching on the net.
The first ever PC we bought was from Morgan, and since they have been around ... ...check out their internet site.
Well, lo-and behold they had a ZD7000 model online and for only 970 sterling!
I wanted the exact specs...but was told these are one-off specs and they couldnt find any details on the HP site. Anyway...I was a little dissapointed by the fact that no-body knew what the exact specs of the laptop was at MC, but I knew roughly what they were and ordered one from the Internet site.
The next day it arrived and was more ...
