Morgan Love De Toi Eau De Toilette, (thats a mouthful and half), I recieved this for Christmas 2007. I'd never heard of Morgan before, let alone this product, so wanted to give it a try out.

*THE BOTTLE*

...like a bottle you would give to a little girl, but i'd assume it wasn't aimed for that market, but I wouldn't know.
The bottle is pink see-through plastic at the top where the spray button is, underneath that is the glass bottle. When I spray perfume, I never really think about what kind of smells I can actually smell, it's just a case of "mm that smells nice", spray and go. Now i'm going to be a bit daring and try to write a perfume review, wish me luck.

*THE BOTTLE*

First of all what caught my eye was the bottle. Now if i'm totally honest I wasn't expecting much from the product, as the bottle sort of looked quite childish, I was 18 last year and I was used to more grown up style bottles, it sort of looked like a bottle you would give to a little girl, but i'd assume it wasn't aimed for that market, but I wouldn't know.
The bottle is pink see-through plastic at the top where the spray button is, underneath that is the glass bottle. The bottle starts off as clear glass, then goes onto pale pink, darker pink, then a reddy sort of colour at the bottom, personally i think it's quite effective. The bottle is in a nice sort of 'womanly' shape, with it starting large, curving into the stomach and curving back out into the hips.
The 'childish' part of the bottle, which stands out is the pink butterfly at the bottom of the bottle, it has a silver gem in the middle of it, which on my bottle has now fell out. Some people may like this feature, so each to their own. The bottle is small enough to go into an handbag, and is quite light.

*THE NOSE TEST*

With all perfumes I get, I always give them a quick spray test as soon as I get them, with this one i was quite pleasantly surprised.

The spray button is located at the top of the bottle, it's not just a spray cap, but the whole of the top of the bottle, with the spray nozzle thing located straight at the front of the bottle, it's very easy to press, whereas some of the other caps are tougher to press. Also with the nozzle being at the front of the bottle, there is no chance of the nozzle swirling around with you intending to spray it on your wrist and end up spraying it in your eye, which is a nice feature.

When sprayed the product comes out quite fine, and needs to be sprayed a couple of times to get the desired amount out. As soon as the perfume is sprayed I get a burst of it up my nose.
It smells really fruity, quite sweet, also a bit spicy, a bit like strong fruity bubbly gum. The fruit I get most is cherries. It's quite a difficult scent to describe, there's alot of smells going off at once so they all merge into one. After leaving it on the skin for a little while the smell of apples is present, also still with other fruity notes.

Apparently it should smell like pink pepper, mandarin orange, raspberry, and green apple, personally I don't get the orange notes outright, other people might, but like i said the smells all merge into one big fruity bowl of sorts. First of all i couldn't put my finger on the pink pepper, but now i can definately smell the peppery notes.

Personally I would use this spray for daytime use, with it being sweet, it's not a night time perfume, again other people may differ, but i enjoy less sweet perfumes at night. This spray would be great for use in the summertime, as it's a very fruity summery scent.
The scent lasts all day, as I do usually expect with perfumes, although sometimes that isn't the case with some.

The perfume is 35ml, i've used this quite alot, got a bit left in the bottom, but it has lasted me well, purely because the scent lasts all day, so doesn't need to be reapplied.

All in all I would recommend this perfume to females (obviously), probably younger females as it's quite a girly scent. I've seen it in Boots for about £6 which is quite reasonable. If you like sweet, slightly spicy perfumes then you will like this.

A nice shaped bottle, great scent and a reasonable price, give it a try.
