I love this machine. i bought it just over a year ago for £50 from Currys. It comes with a two years manufacturers warranty and Currys do there own which is £9.99 for 3 years instant replacement. Watch out though, if you get it when it is full price (£55) the three year warranty is £19.99. I have tried many varieties of coffees and my tip is buy the fair trade, not only better for the economy but also tastes much nicer! This is a very easy machine to use although you have to be careful not to thread the top of the machine when you put the the water in. The filter is washable which is always handy as it stops you having to spend lots of money on replacement parts. The filter coffee stays really hot on the warming plate which isanother benefit of the machine. If you are like me and like to have several cups an hour then this is a must in a coffee maker. The milk warming plate is good at first but do not leave it on long or you end up with scrambled egg type mess in the bottom. A nightmare to clean I can assure you! The espresso machine is easy to use, although only gives around 8 shots of espresso whilst the coffee side gives around 10 cups or 5 mugs. The milk section in the centre also has a frother! Very nice for posh coffee. Another benefit to this machine is the individual power switches for each section, milk, coffee and espresso. Finally I found that the manual was absolutely brilliant. Apart from the fact that it had easy to follow instructions it also had some yummy recipes to try!!

These early reviews of yours were certainly quick to read! Richard.

The frother on ths one is just a little whisk that spins when switched on. Just the milk warmer that annoys me. I know this model is still available so thought it was worth reviewing to give people a chance to grab it and know it was reliable. I always say the manufacturer gives a warranty period for a reason. They know it will usually go wrong outside that time so two years is pretty good.

Having had this machine I couldnt stand the milk frother - MR may well have improved the design - but mine was steamed whisk stick which did little frothing and MR could have done with fitting the machine with a proper milk froth jet.
