These are curling tongs from Morphy Richards. I bought them about 2 months ago. I must say, that I am impressed with them!! I used them to put nice curls in my hair. The tongs were ridiculously cheap - under £5 in Asda! (Because talking of hair styling equipment, I've noticed hair-straighteners which cost £30 - £60!!, soo expensive!!). These heated tongs were an impulse buy, which have been fabulous.

>>Cable can rotate 360 degrees, so there is no chance of tangling the cable. This is such a good safety feature, and makes handling the tongs so much easier. You can worry about how your hairstyle is turning out, rather than manoeuvring the appliance properly!!

I've got thick shoulder length hair. Thick hair can be hard to style sometimes, but these heated tongs have been very effective. They come with a resting rack, which is in the middle of the tongs, which can be pushed out and under the tongs, so that you can put them down safely on the metal rack when you've plugged them in to heat them up. Plug them in for 5 minutes, and then hey presto! you're good to start using them. The far end of the tongs are plastic, so you don't burn yourself when you are curling your hair. Be careful that you don't grip the tongs further down from this plastic bit, because there will be a little bit of ouch factor when you touch the metal bit!!

There's a red light which comes on to show you and remind you that you have switched the tongs on. One thing I was aware of when I bought the tongs, was the weight of the tongs. I didn't want heavy ones. These ones are light, and very good to use. The handle is made of a stylish silver coloured plastic, which is not cheap quality, but is sturdy as well as good looking. The hinge on the tongs is a sturdy hinge too - good enough to hold down on your hair when you're using the tongs (it's not a flimsy hinge). The plastic which is on the tongs (on the end of the hinge and at the end of the tongs where you can hold onto the tong with your free hand), as seen in the photo of the tongs, is a stylish purple colour.

This product is really quite fuss-free, in terms of being easy to use, so affordable, and a nice-looking product to boot too.
