I saw these straighteners in Boots on offer at half price £40.00 instead of the usual £80.00 just before Christmas last year. I thought that they looked good but that they can't have been worth the £79.00 price tag that they were originally. However after seeing them in quite a few shops I saw that they were still selling for £79.00. (Curry's/Dixons exc) However,at the time I did not need straighteners as I has the Remington 2X which were doing their job.
~~~So why did I buy them?~~~ Then, suddenly on the morning of December 25th (also known as Christmas) my Remington Straighteners stopped working. I was devastated and annoyed because of all the days it could have happened,it had to be xmas!!! Anyway I went in to Boots a week later and they were back up to £79.00 just with £10.00 off. I'd asked a few of the girls in Boots (where I work) and they said that they were really good. So I decided to give them a go.

~~~Method~~~ You just start at the roots and glide your straightener down 1 inch thick strands of hair. For best results I recomment clipping your hair up, in to about 3 sections so that the underneath is striaght and each layer is thoroughly straightened. My hair is medium length and takes about 20 minutes to straighten.
~~~Results~~~ Even without blow drying my hair, with these straighteners they allow me to have really straight hair! My hair is naturally not dead straight but not wavy = really annoying! It doesn't have that nice wave, just behaves as you don't want it too!~~~Advantages~~~

No carry case/pouch. I found this annoying when i was in America as I straightened my hair and put them in my suitcase.This is quite dangerous but luckily nothing burned!
~~~Other notes~~~ I also recommend getting "Lee Stafford Poker straight spray" (£4.99 from Boots) as it protects your hair from Straighteners and also is effective at getting your hair straighter than you would normally.
