I have had long hair for as long as I can remember but I have only had poker straight hair since i got these straighteners. It was last November when I first decided I needed a pair of GHD's - at least that is until I found these Morphy Richards I Create Original Ceramic Hair Straighteners!!

I opened the box and immediately I was drawn to how smooth and thin the plates were and how much they reminded me of the GHD'S.

When I plugged them in, within one minute they were too hot to touch and if you use them on each handful of hair you will have really straight hair.

However, I feel that they make your hair quite dry and as with all heat products, i would recommend using a hair spray as this will stop split ends and binds the hair cuticles - at least that's what I was told by my hairdresser! I also would use the L'Oreal Hot Straightening Serum (its a pink bottle - which was the attraction!) its about £3 and i got if from Boots and it makes your hair feel really soft and after i straighten my hair it sometimes goes quite fluffy and static but this will stop any adverse effects!!

When you have been using the straighteners for a while - you will notice that they are surprisingly even hotter than they were when you started, which with most straighteners isn't always the case.

When you are done they cool down in about five minutes but do not touch the ceramic plates as they can get really hot.

There are also two heat settings. I always use the hottest setting as it is for longer hair. They also have a three metre long cable which is really handy and they are ergonimically designed.

I would definitely recommend buying these especially if you are like me and don't like to spend too much money on straighteners - £40 was nothing when they have already done me for nearly a year and i still have no complaints. I'll leave it up to you to make up your own mind!!

Thanks for reading!
