"Wont get you hot under the collar"

Brought this Iron a couple of weeks back, mainly on the advise of my sister in law, I have over the years gone for a more expensive option, thinking that in the long run they would save me time trouble and effort, but technology as improved so much, even on the most lowly item such as the common iron, this rule of thumb is not necessarily so anymore.

In fact this little beauty. Although somewhat cheaper than my previous iron is more than capable of doing the job, and although I hate to admit it, probably better and easier.

Very stylish item in white and green comes with fixed flex cord and standard manufacture sealed plug, nicely balanced iron, not to heavy and arduous on the old arm and wrist.

Stands safely in its upright position in between jobs, all the usual adjustable settings for ironing from silk to bed linen, please note, when adjusting settings from a really hot temperature to a much cooler setting, wait a small while for the iron to adjust, as with all irons this isn't an instantaneous reaction and you will burn your precious items.

Water spray jet facility at the front of the iron for those really stubborn creases, powerful variable steam control works excellently on the kids school shirt collars and pressing their trousers and pleated skirts.

Self clean system, via steam blast, anti scale and a drip stop system, but I haven't a clue how it works, it just does. Its water tank holds up to 400ml of water.

From plugging in the iron doesn't take long to reach its set temperature, as far as safety is concerned, well its an hot iron, and I think there isn't really a lot of safety gadgets that can be attached, its just down to common sense by the user.

It handles denim very well with the minimum of fuss, all in all a good family iron, at a reasonable price.

I got mine from Argos for about £25.00 but I have done a bit of homework for you, and Tesco have price checked against several stores and they are offering it for £19.95 online at Tesco.com.

Comes with standard 2 years manufacture guarantee.
