I've always bought cheap irons in the past but as they tend to mark easily and hence mark your clothes, I decided to buy a slightly more expensive one. With so many to choose from, the main reason I chose this model in the end was because it was half price at Tesco...£15.00. It has a non-stick soleplate so it's less likely to mark and comes with a two year guarantee. Other features include anti-scale system, 400ml water tank, illuminated settings and a non-drip system. My experience so far has been very positive. Although I initially thought the 400ml water tank was pretty irrelevant, it's actually quite useful as I don't have to keep refilling it if I've got a lot of ironing to do. It is a bit bigger than the cheap irons I've been used to but if anything this has been advantageous. Overall I've been delighted with this iron, I've now had it three months and as I expected with a reputable brand like this, I've had no problems whatsoever. Highly recommended.
