Advantages: Good steam power Disadvantages: Noisy. Takes a while for steam to come through when refilled.
This is an upper to middle of the range corded steam generator iron. It has all the standard functions you would expect with a modern iron and the steam jet is particularly powerful.
It irons very well, I used to spend ages ironing until I bought one of these and a new board and now I get it done in half the time - it's amazing what a difference a decent iron makes!
Overall the iron is sturdy and seems well made. The ... ...is a minor irritation. One thing I would say is that it's very noisy! In fact, it scares the s*#t out of my dog!
Also, it is quite a bulky and heavy object to shove away in a cupboard - nobody wants to look at the iron when they're not using it!
To sum up - this thing reduced the time I spend ironing so it was definitely worth the £90!
