This kettle looks great in the kitchen. I have had to have it replaced twice due to a faulty light. I have since found this was an elecrical fault at my end. I do however know other people with the same model who have had no problems. . Morphy richards customer service is excellent and I would definately buy this brand again. The replacement was sent straight away by courier. My last morphy richards kettle was years old and was very well used, it was still going when I 'upgraded' to this one. I purchased it from Amazon who were at least £10 cheaper than anywhere else at the time.
It lights up neon blue when switched on and returns to chrome look when it has boiled. It has a 1.7 litre capacity. 3.1kW rapid boil element. The jug can sit at any direction on the base. There is cord storage under the base. It has a removable limescale filter. The hinged locking lid is a little difficult for filling. It has a concealed element so no hiding places for limescale! The kettle is a little louder than my last one too.

This really is a trendy addition the the kitchen and never fails to impress every new guest!
