works well enough but... |

When I first tried this, I could not get it to work. I found out that although it is not mentioned in the manual, there is a switch underneath the drip tray which is supposed to detect whether the cups are in place or not. On mine, this was not working until I refitted the drip tray cover upside down. This allowed enough movement to get the switch to activate and hence brew some drinks.
The other big flaw with this is is the design of the water reservoir. It's long and flat, with overflow holes at either end (again, not documented in the manual, and not readily spotted). If you over fill the reservoir the excess water goes down these holes and onto whatever the thing is standing on. The reservoir doesn't really hold enough water, and just a slight knock can cause a flood.Other gripes are that the clock display is too bright and has no control; the cups are metal and unpleasant to drink from, and lose heat quickly; and it's very noisy.
