The whole effect while visually appealing, on dark winter mornings it can make the room feel quite dull and cold; therefore I like to add splashes of colour with appliances and accessories to lift the whole effect. First Impressions When it comes to selecting kitchen accessories and appliances I wouldn't say I am a good judge. The reason I say this is that I opted for the green colour when I decided to purchase the Morphy Richards Accents 44732 Four Slice Toaster. This particular model is also available in blue and red colours, so perhaps I should have chosen a little more wisely. My kettle is silver, so there were no option to match with this, and with a light wood and dark granite worktop kitchen I don't think any of the colours would have given a perfect match. gorgeous retro toaster When I moved in to my new house recently I wanted all new kitchen appliances as my old one’s were starting to become a little grubby. I already knew I wanted the main appliances to be red coloured to match my décor and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that there were many red accented toasters, kettles etc on the market. Ok I know I sound silly being excited by a toaster that toasts but if you'd seen our old toaster you'd be happy for me! The old one wasn't a bad make or ugly but it just had problems. It didn't want to toast to the degree it was set to and only two of the four slots worked. Having a family of four who all love their morning toast there was a bit of a fight for the toaster in the morning. Even the three year old was getting involved in the arguments. It may only toast bread but its oh so pretty I have recently had my kitchen redecorated and in honour I decided to treat myself to a new kettle and toaster. I decided that I was going to go for red ones but once I saw the blue coloured kettle and toaster from Morphy Richards it was love at first sight and I had to have them.
