...hope I stumbled across the Morphy Richards 3-in-1 basket fryer; it appeared to be everything I wanted.
On first sight you have a large fryer. Inside are 3 baskets, one large, and two small. The beauty of this is you can use the large basket for your family portion of chips, but, if you are cooking a small meal for two you can use the two small baskets, one for chips, and the other for your fish or whatever else you are frying.
The next test was ... ...of Comet and took the fryer to pieces, much to the embarrassment of my daughter. I was impressed. The whole unit comes to pieces. The bowl lifts out completely from the unit and then the control pod at the front can be removed. You are left with the carcass, the lid, the bowl and the baskets, taken apart in seconds and ready for easy cleaning.
The beauty of being able to remove the bowl is that you can then take it away and discard your oil easily.

I've found this bread machine to be great and would certainly recommend it. Every loaf I've made so far has turned out great- I expected to have at least one disaster but haven't yet!
