It's quick to filter and keeps the coffee hot. i generally don't leave the machine on allday to drink the same coffee. I like to make a fresh pot when i want it, so i can't comment on whether it burns it or not.
The milk frother uses a whisk rather than steam to froth it, so there isn't the chance of scalding, but i did forget to turn the hot plate off for the milk and had a bit of trouble cleaning the burnt milk out of the jug, but i've ... more

Someone else wrote that you can't stop the milk dripping on the hotplate, well you can't but it's not that difficult to clean if it does. Just leave the plate on for a bit longer, without the jug on it, to "burn" the drip/s of milk and then leave to cool, you can pick it off then. Everything else is easy to clean, it either unscrews or twists off. The filter and basket just turn and clip out. The downside to this machine is that you can't fill the water reservoir up using the coffee jug with out splashing water everywhere. The lid doesnt lift up far enough to accommodate the size of the jug, so unless you're an expert with a smaller jug, you're going to have difficulties. Oh, and it's even more difficult if you're left handed. The top of the lid is metal so be aware that it gets very hot and could lead to burns (it's the stupidist part of the machines design). Also i've found that the angle of the jug handles is a bit odd, i guess it's to stop you're fingers being to close to the hot liquids, but all my other jugs in my kitchen don't have a handle at an angle that always makes you feel like you're going to drop it when it's full, so it make you want to hold the bottom, not a good choice when it's full of hot coffee/milk.

I have owned 2 cappuccino makers in the past, and both have made a lovely cup of coffee with a good depth of flavour, but the frother has eventually stopped working on both and I have had to make do with a tasty, but not frothy, cup of coffee. As I really missed the froth, I asked for a coffee maker for christmas, and I got this one, the Morpy Richards Mister Cappuccino coffee maker. It is just a regular filter coffee maker with a frother which just ... ...I think gives exactly the same result, and is much less likely to break down. This really isn't a cappuccino maker though, so the description is a bit misleading. Filter coffee is very nice, but it doesn't have the same depth of flavour as coffee made from a proper cappuccino machine, and if you know your coffees, I think you will be a bit disappointed by this. Also in my old machine, you needed 2 scoops to get 2 decent coffees, whereas with this ...

We bought this coffee maker at Christmas time as our old one had broken. We chose it as it was reasonably priced and looked fairly simple to use. The milk frother is brilliant although we don't often use it. Making coffee is easy although the one thing that is annoying is pouring the water in the top, You have to tip the machine back as the jug lid gets in the way. I am sure there is an easier way! It is easy to clean and there is a light telling you when the coffee is ready. ...

I picked this machine because I wanted a good reliable and simple coffee machine. I loved the idea to have a milk frother and still a compact design.
The milk frother works well, but you have to stay close or you'll burn the milk pretty quickly. Now, the coffee part... well it is almost impossible to fill the water tank without spilling water all over the place. It is also almost impossible to fill your cup without spilling coffee all over. the ... ...will spill while brewing (hot and messy!).
The machine traps some water in the lid, so every time you open it to refill the water tank, it spills!
Finally, but that's my fault, I should have looked more carefully before buying it, there is no safety timer on this machine, so eventually, you'll end up with burned leftover coffee. Silly me, I thought it would come standard at that price. We've had it for 2 months now, and we are going to buy an other ...

I wanted a nice coffee machine that didnt take forever to make or doesnt need building up. I would recommend this product as Im very pleased with it. So far it has not failed me and it makes hot coffee and keeps it hot! For a great surprise it also creates frothy milk which i LOVE! It also can heat it up, having it at night really is relaxing. the shape/ design is quite attractive and can hold quite alot of coffee. The machine is very easy to wash ... ...lid of and place both items into the washing machine and done! As easy as that unless your like me and you hand wash it which is as easy. Its also very easy to wash the coffee net; you can easily put that in the washing machine or run it under a hot tap and done! I do enjoy this machine but there are some bad points. When filling it up with water it is quite hard to pour all water in without spilling any, but its not impossible. I hoped this helped. ...
