* Chopping: the main chopping blade is very efficient. It also comes with a protective plastic cover which means that I am less likely to cut myself when rummaging around trying to find it.
* Dough preparation: the plastic dough blade works very well and produces perfectly mixed pastry dough in no time. Cake mixture can also be prepared this way.
I don't really know how I have managed so long without a food processor. My last one conked out years ago and I have made do with a handheld processor/chopper which has now also worn out. So, off I went to Argos to redeem some of my hard-earned Nectar rewards!
I thought I would have to pay quite a lot to get a good quality processor, but at £29.99, this Morphy Richards model is exceptionally good value (especially as I remember buying a Braun food processor for around £40.00, 25 years ago!)
One point to note on the product description - the bowl is not glass as detailed here, but is clear plastic (as I would expect). I find the 1 litre capacity is perfectly adequate for my needs. There are 2 speed settings + a pulse setting which is great for chopping nuts.
General operation is smooth and not too noisy. The different operations are:
* Chopping: the main chopping blade is very efficient. It also comes with a protective plastic cover which means that I am less likely to cut myself when rummaging around trying to find it.
* Dough preparation: the plastic dough blade works very well and produces perfectly mixed pastry dough in no time. Cake mixture can also be prepared this way.
* Citrus juicing: very efficient and and the strainer is very easy to clean afterwards
* Grating/slicing: I prefer to use the blade rather than the grater or slicer as I find that they leave behind some pieces of food which have not made it through into the bowl.
The instruction book is adequate and also includes some basic recipes.
2 year guarantee included with product and also a Helpline telephone no. (0870) is available. You can also order replacement parts by phone.
I can definitely recommend this product as a time-saving and efficient appliance at a very reasonable price.
Advantages: Loads of functions, easy to operate, 2 speed plus pulse. Disadvantages: Locking the bowl to base is difficult at first.
I received this food processor at Christmas and I don't know how I ever managed without it. It's superb for mixing cakes, taking all the strain out of hand mixing. Can be used for chopping, beating, mixing dough, shredding and pressing citrus fruits. Extras include a plastic spatula that is great for scraping the bowl without scratching it.
Only problems I have encountered are fixing the bowl to the base (bowl must be in correct postion for system ...

Advantages: quiet, sturdy. Disadvantages: Be aware that food can get stuck inside the blade tools.
I was looking for a cheap but reliable all round processor to replace the one I had for 25 years (yes, I really do expect it to last that long) Being money concious, I came across this particular processor at less than half price with Amazon. I could not find many reviews, but seeing as it met the spec I was looking for and at a price that was cheap, I thought I would give it a try. Well, what can I say, an excellent piece of machinery for the money. ... ...kitchen). Quiet, yet with brilliant results. There are a variety of useful attachments (not really sure you would use them all however). Ease of use, simple, you do not really need instructions, and the blade guards are a bonus. The only down side. In the adverts it said it came with a liquidiser, but it didn't. Overall a thumbs up. ...
