Advantages: 360 degree base Disadvantages: Poor spout that drips, lid doesnt open fully, filter falls out
...mentioned that I wanted a kettle with a matching toaster - which I also bought from Sainsburys at the same time. The toaster and kettle are said to be in the same MorphyRichards Illuma range but look completely different! The kettle has a gold tinge to the stainless steel while the toaster is a true silver colour. The lights that they are both fitted with have a totally different appearance to one another. The kettle has black trim and the kettle doesn't. Even the MorphyRichards logo is in a different font style and colour!
There is nothing fundamentally wrong with this kettle but it does have a lot of niggles. My advice would be to stay well clear of this kettle and spend your £50 elsewhere and try and not be seduced by glamorous but unrealistic photos on the packaging, like I was!

Advantages: Delicious bread without such a gaping hole in the bottom Disadvantages: Ingredients bucket a bit stiff to manouver

As I unpacked this very good looking silver machine, I found an instruction book, guarantee card (for two years) and the measuring cup and spoons. The instruction book is very clear and is full of interesting recipes which include cake and jam. There are a list of baking cycle times and you can make a fast loaf in 1 hour should you wish...
