It is 2000w which is more powerful then the others i looked at and the power cord is 4.6m long which is a decent length. I read the manuel first and it is very easy to use and very straight forward. It takes about 5 minutes to heat up and the 1litre tank steams for approx 25 minutes.
The cleaner comes with a range of attachments including angled nozzle (ideal for under the toilet rim) round brush for stubborn marks, glass squeegy,upholstery tool and a carrying strap. As well as the strap the cleaner has a carry handle which is ideal for moving it around and the entire unit when full isn't too heavy especially with the added assistance of the strap. The attachments simply push fit onto the flexible hose.
To use simply fill up with 3 cups of water using the measuring cup and funnel supplied,close the cap and switch on. The heating up process can be speeded up by using warm water.
Make sure you place the end of the nozzle in a sink or bowl because it will spit a couple of times when it is nearly ready. Then away you go.
The first couple of times i used mine i kept flitting about because of the novelty factor because i wanted it see if it would clean the taps,then the toilet rim, then the tile grout.......and so on. So i actually had to force myself to concentrate on one area at at time.
I find it most useful on my oven and hob and even use it to blow over my houseplants to clean the dust off the leaves!!!
Unfortunately, have not yet had the chance to try it on upholstery but most of mine is machine washable anyway so probably wont make use of the steamer for this.
I would recommend having a cloth handy for water run off especially when cleaning glass and windows. Make sure the glass isn't too cold first as the temperature change may crack it.
The entire steamer is a neat,compact little unit and the tools have there own drawstring bag so it doesn't take up very much valuable cupboard space. It's a handy piece of equipment and fun to use. Where else can you get a facial sauna whilst you do the housework!!!!!!
