...Morphy Richards 43121 Illuma Kettle Blue and Stainless Steel With a new fitted kitchen just installed my tatty old kettle and toaster looked really out of place! I decided I wanted a kettle that: • Had a 360 degree base - for ease of placing the kettle onto the base • Illuminated when on • Had a concealed element • Was finished in a brushed or stainless steel finish • Had a matching toaster in the range • Was under £50 • Is made by a well known brand • And of course it must look good! I choose the Morphy Richards 43121 as it fitted ALL of my requirements and looked fantastic in the picture on the box. I purchased the kettle at Sainsburys where it had been reduced from £50 to £33. Advantages: Manouverable
Disadvantages: When I said it sucks I didnt mean in a good way!

...Every home needs a vacuum cleaner especially mine, with 2 young children running about it's inevitable that there will be mess, crumbs, trampled in play doh...................... my old vacuum blew up(as most of my appliances have a habit of doing) my mum is a bit of a vacuum addict and saw this as the perfect excuse to get rid of her old one and buy a new one for herself, so I gratefully recieved the Morphy Richards Orb. My mum sang it's praises and being a vacuum aimed at pet owners I had high hopes, ok no I dont have pets but if it can get up pets hairs it should be able to clean up the crumbs. Advantages: Easy to use, good grip, good quality
Disadvantages: Not cordless

...Our iron packed up over Christmas, we have previously used Morphy Richards stuff because we have found them to be reliable and do a suitable job whoever gets the short straw and has to do the ironing! Since this is my 1st review of 2006, my girlfriend has been given the all important job of testing out this new little puppy. Today being bank holiday Monday, we thought it was safe enough to explore the outside world again and hey ho hey ho it's off to Asda we go!! (I know a song about that!). Why o why don't Asda put irons with the electrical stuff? we searched for ages but eventually was told they were in isle 19! (Shame on us for not knowing!). There was a fair choice, from shop brands for the super dooper cordless models. I managed to fend the girlfriend from going down this avenue! I'm sure that one day we will opt... Read review
