I bought this product as an alternative to a hand held rechargeable cordless vacuum cleaner as I found the rechargeable battery on that procucet died long before the cleaner!

The pod so far is great - it is a compact bagless vacuum cleaner ideal for use in small spaces such as stairs, the car etc. It is very light and small - easy to move around. The cable is a reasonable length and the cable rewind facility adequate. The pod has no bag so it is easy to empty, the only drawback is that the static created causes dust to stick to the plastic. You can see when it is full as the plastic pod is transparent. The filter for the pod is washable and a spare/replacement is provided with the appliance. It has a variable power dial, for the size of this appliance the suction power is excellent. The extension tube is a good size and the floor/carpet cleaner is easy to use. It comes with the usual accessories for cleaning upholstery etc etc which can be attached to the tube when not being used. The instruction manual is short and sweet with everything you need to know. The only thing missing is a remote control switch on the handle but for the size of this product it is not essential. The pod measures about 40cm in lenth and the extension tube just over 1m. I would recommend this applicance as a useful addition to a standard upright household vacuum cleaner or for cleaning small areas such as a car. The noise level is fine.
