How did us girls ever manage without hair straighteners! I say "us girls" but I am in my forties and still use them, and my 18 year old daughter would just not go out of the house if they broke. Hence we have about 3 spare ones just in case! I can remember when I was a teenager (just!) and spending hours blow drying my normally wavy hair into a straight bob, only to find an hour later that I needn't have bothered as humidity or rain had made me look like I had stuck my fingers in an electrical socket. Perhaps I should only have ventured out after studying the weather forecast first. We have had a few pairs of straighteners now, having bought the first ones about 4/5 years ago, and these particular ones we have had about 2-3 years and they are still as good as ever. Morphy Richards Impressed me

Morphy Richards are well known and trustworthy manufacturers of electrical appliances and produce a wide choice of products. With Christmas fast approaching the company have many novel and inexpensive gift ideas displayed on their website. Of course all of the prices have been adjusted to reflect the recent reduction in VAT. So many times I have bought an electrical appliance only to find a few months down the line that I need to find spare parts or accessories and often this can be frustrating. But I have noticed that Morphy Richards have a search facility on their website for this and if you cannot find the part that you are searching for then you can contact their Customer Care Team via the website. Replacing my iron has been on my `To Do` list for some months now and I have only recently got around to doing it. Years ...

A great Morphy Richards Product

Advantages: Delicious bread without such a gaping hole in the bottom
Disadvantages: Ingredients bucket a bit stiff to manouver

I have had my original Morphy Richards breadmaker for two years and it was still in good working order but when I saw a new model in Robert Dyas, I had to go and investigate. The new model on display was boasting a drop down paddle which meant no more gaping holes in your bread after you have removed it from the tin. That has to be a plus! The fact that the price had been reduced from £70 to just under £50 swayed my decision. My current which model could be passed onto a grateful family member. As I unpacked this very good looking silver machine, I found an instruction book, guarantee card (for two years) and the measuring cup and spoons. The instruction book is very clear and is full of interesting recipes which include cake and jam. There are a list of baking cycle times and you can make a fast loaf in 1 hour should you wish ...
