Advantages: Good size, 3 simply settings, accommodates family size meals Disadvantages: You have to think ahead with prep time in the morning.
...They happened to have a Morphy Richards Slow Cooker CE on sale. I have had this one before and knew that it was an excellent slow cooker. We couldn't find one of the large ones with the rest of the small size slow cookers so we went to the lady in front and asked if there were anymore available. The price is normally £34.95 but they were on sale for £24.95. "We have one in the front on display," she told us. We asked where it was and wouldn't you ... ...of the window with everything on display. She offered to get it for us and pulled out everything (very carefully) just to give us the Slow Cooker. I was really glad because I didn't want to have to do anything desperate like throw everything out of the way so I could get the last one. You never know what these desperate shoppers can be like when they really want something! LOL
On to some of the finer points - 1. Comes with a 2 year guarantee.

Slowly does it Review ofMorphy Richards Slow Cookerby

Advantages: Ideal for cooking stews, casseroles, joints of meat Disadvantages: Need to brown things before slow cooking
...last Christmas I received a Morphy Richards Slow Cooker as a present from my mother in law, but it retails at £34.95 in Argos and can be purchased online or in the shop.
The slow cooker is very large, with a 6.5 litre capacity and is silver in colour and oval in shape. When I opened the box I thought that the size was a little large for a family of four, and had I purchased one myself I would have probably selected a smaller model. However, on reading ... ...smaller cooker is more acceptable, Morphy Richards do a 4.5 litre version which can be purchased for between £19 and £25 from various outlets.
There are three settings on the slow cooker: high, medium and low, which can be selected by using the black dial on the front of the appliance which is simply clicked into position. I normally start my meat on the medium setting and turn down to low as the day goes on as I find this gives the most flavoursome ...

What is it?
A Morphy Richards slow cooker is one of those things modern woman should not be without like the vibrator these things are indispensible.
They come in 2 sizes 6.5 litre with a maximum working capacity of 4.5 litres and a 3.5 litre one with maximum working capacity of 2.5 litres. The slow cooker consists of ceramic crock pot, glass lid, base, control knob and power indicator.
I had a good look around for a slow cooker before i bought ... ...stainless steal but i suppose that is not a huge problem.
How does it work?
Slow cooking food has always been the best and easiest way to prepare and cook a nutritious meal with minimum fuss. This is quite an old fashioned way of cooking but once you cook in a slow cooker you can see why they have stood the test of time. Generally slow cooking is used for cooking soups and casseroles but i have cooked currys and joints of meat in mine with excellant ...

Slow but worth it Review ofMorphy Richards Slow Cookerby
Wearsidelass
Advantages: Hot tasty meals without much effort Disadvantages: Possible weight gain with so much good food
...to Tescos and bought a Morphy Richards slow cooker for the excellent price of £19.99! It is a 3.5 litre cooker with a maximum working capacity of 2.5 litres (enough for a family of 3/4).
It is oval in shape and is chrome/black in colour - very elegant looking indeed. It has 3 settings, low, medium and high.
I bought this because I work full-time and I do not have time to cook a "proper" dinner in the evening - too tired out from work!
Now, when ... ...has cooked and it is such a welcoming smell.
Slow cooking is the best way to prepare a nutritious hot meal with the minimum of preparation. You can cook various types of meals in the cooker - there are several recipes for you to try out in the instruction booklet. Most foods are suitable for slow cooking apart from pasta and seafood. You must remember to completely thaw all frozen foods. Root vegetables (eg. carrots) should be cut into small pieces ...

Advantages: Large Volume, 3 Temp Settings, Nice Aesthetics and Design Disadvantages: A few stipulations regarding foods that can be cooked and how to use the cooker, although these are general to Slow Cookers and not this model alone
...This cooker comprises of a nice stainless steel outer shell, a big / heavy, sturdy ceramic inner pot and a toughened glass lid. Would tie in nicely if you have stainless steel / chrome appliances.
The removable ceramic pot has a capacity to 6.5ltr to the brim, with a recommended working capacity of 4.5ltr, plenty big enough to feed 4-6 people. The pot is dishwasher safe and can easily be transported to the table for serving.
The cooker is of an oval shape, rather than round, which allows you to cook joints of meat
The cooker has handles which don't conduct heat so the unit can be moved (for whatever reason) during cooking without burning yourself.
The lid is made from toughened glass, so you can monitor the food during cooking.
The reason I bought a slowcooker was so I could make some tasty meals, with little...

Advantages: Lovely food available as you walk in the door Disadvantages: Must be organised!
...I get this feeling that slowcookers are not the "in" appliance at the moment, so I'm going to try and change all that with this review. I decided I wanted a slowcooker when my new oven failed to stay on long enough (electric - turned it self off - don't ask!!) to do my long slow Lancashire Hotpot recipe, so a quick nip onto the old internet and the MorphyRichards Digital Slowcooker model no. 48730 is what I bought.
The appliance is made up of brushed finish stainless steel and it has a ceramic hotpot inner which is removable so if you like you can take your cooked meal to the table to serve. The pot is dishwasher safe and is a HUGE 6 ½ litre capacity, guaranteed to serve the largest of families.
The digital control panel allows cooking times to range from around 4 to 8 hours depending upon the recipe you wish to cook...

Advantages: Meals cook themselves. Disadvantages: Non I am aware.
...I purchased the MorphyRichards (model number 48710) slowcooker after comparing it with the other slowcookers that are available. It is oval and not round ,I preferred it to the round ones as I thought it easier to carry and not as tall when it is the worktop. The stainless steel outer gets hot when in use so it needs to be kept out of the reach of children and the contents could get as hot as the contents of a saucepan so use it with care when young children are in the kitchen area.
The reasons I picked this model are; a two year guarantee (which I thought good on a small appliance). It looks good the design is stylish and fits in with my kitchen as it is stainless steel and black with a glass lid. It's size is 3.5 litres (2.5 litres working capacity) ideal for two-three people a family of four would definitely need the next size...
