Advantages: Cheaper than leading brands. Disadvantages: A Little Inferior.
...other day I popped into Morrisons to top-up on fresh food and forgotten items, one of these being baby wipes. Now, I normally go for Pampers or Huggies, depending on which one happens to have a special offer on at the time. On this particular trip to Morrisons however, neither were on special so I decided to look further a field, and ended up coming away with the supermarkets own brand. Here's my verdict….
Morrisons do a few different variations ... ...front of this packet the Morrisons rather tacky looking, black and yellow logo can clearly be seen, as well as some splashes of purple, and some yellow flowers. There is a clear pull back re-sealable tab in the middle. The reverse of this pack contains ingredients, storage instructions and a warning not to flush your wipe away. A best before is also displayed, blimey they last ages! 2008. *****What are They Like?
When I opened the sticky tab and ...

Advantages: Best store brand wipe available, competitively priced. Disadvantages: Not quite as effective as "brand" names.
Morrison's Baby Wipes are one of many "store brand" wipes we have tried over the years. Prior to purchasing these we have been largely disappointed. They often turn out to be flimsy, dry and non-absorbent compared to their "branded" competitors so it was with a little cynicism and trepidation that we tried the Morrison's brand. After all how many times do I have to put my fingers through a wipe into poo before I spend the extra few quid on Johnson's ... ...rectangular pack of eighty for £1.89, which is cheaper than big name brands such as Johnson's and Huggies but dearer than "true" budget brands such as Aldi. Opening the pack is done using a plastic, flip lid which means they will not dry out unlike the tape style resealables of other brands. Pulling out a wipe is simple enough without the need to tug like a strong man pulling a lorry. Bonus points too as only wipe is released at a time leaving just ...

Advantages: Great value, and strong durable wipes Disadvantages: Not the best, but a great substitute
...been doing our shopping at Morrisons for about two years now, and we decided a while back to try the Morrisons branded baby wipes as they were on a buy one get one free offer. We had a choice of either scented or non scented wipes. They came in a pack of 80, or we had a choice of buying a multipack of 4 x 80 baby wipes.
The wipes were very reasonably priced at just over £1 per pack. We found that they were of a really good quality for us to use ... ...have also found is that Morrisons regularly do buy one get on free offers on their baby wipes, so it's even better value for money.
Onviously, you can't beat wipes like Johnsons Aloe Vera and other such brands - but when you can't afford to pay £2.49 a pack then these wipes are certainly a fantastic substitue.
4/5 from our house this time! ...

Advantages: Cheaper than big brands, Good quality product Disadvantages: Only available at Morrisons
I have been a very regular user and purchaser of baby wipes since the birth of my little girl, some 18 months ago. Always on the look out for a bargain I recently tried Morrison’s own brand Non Fragranced Wipes.
Now I am not averse to paying more for quality, and appreciate that baby wipes are god’s gift to parents, but with premium brands such as Pampers and Huggies charging in the region of 3.50 to 4.00 per pack decided to give these ago.
***The ... ...I chose these because the last pack of shops own perfumed variety I bought were Asda’s and they smelt very strongly of perfume and alcohol. I don’t mind a baby lotion type smell but the Asda ones were awful.
The Morrison’s unscented wipes are presented in a powder blue wrapper with a white label on the top of the pack. To open the pack, you simply pull back the label. The packaging is very simple and does not have any fancy illustrations or pictures ...

Aren't baby wipes expensive!? I stock up on them when they are on special offer, like buy one get one free. And that's where i found these delightful baby wipes, sitting on a shelf in Morrison's, hidden away on the bottom shelf underneath the better know pampers and huggies wipes.
I bought the Fragrance Free version. You get 80 wipes, in a plastic, yellow coloured packet, with a re-closeable, re-sealable, pop up lid, so they don't dry out. You simply ... ...the lid again. Soooo easy you can do it with just the one hand, which is important for me cos i need the other hand to stop my baby from wriggling away!
They are soft and gentle on baby's bum, the pack states they are extra soft with baby lotion. They certainly dont make anything sore when you use them. They are also good for removing your own make up by the way. If you use them to wipe baby's hands and face while you are out, they remove all the ...

Advantages: Moist, strong, fresh and soft Disadvantages: a bit pricey in comparison to other brands
...My mum bought me these wipes while I was expecting my first child. I did feel they were a bit pricey so I tried many different brands of babywipes to see if I could find something that was jsut as good but a bit cheaper. Brands I have tried include morrisons, tescos, co-ops, sainsburys and johnsons babywipes. I have still found pampers sensitive wipes to be the best. My son has not had a sore bum once. The wipes have a pleasant fresh chamomile & aloe scent and are very moist.
I found all the other brands very dry in comparison and some of the wipes were quite small meaning you have to go through double the wipes when you have a dirty nappy.
The wipes are a good size and made of a strong but soft material.
Although the wipes are a bit more expensive in comparison to other brands (usually at around £2.50 for 63 wipes) they go further...
