...my savings account with the Northern when I was about 12 and kept it, as well as adding additional current accounts etc until I was 32. Unfortunately customer loyalty accounts for nothing and they got to the stage where they would have brought in a policy of charging you for walking past their bank if they thought they could get away with it. Mortgages Plc are based in Scotland, the main reason I would recommend these is that they offer sub-prime mortgages which are aimed at people who do not have perfect credit, and for many of the products have competetive interest rates, this is an option good for those people who may find it hard getting a mortgage with High Street lenders, they also have self-cert schemes which allow you to state an income higher than you would normally e.g. good ......this is not normally the case. Obviously they are a percentage of your mortgage, but the percentage (I cannot tell you what this in a numerical format, simply check your original contract) is very high in comparison to more mainstream lenders such as Halifax and Nationwide who sometimes have early repayment charges less than £100. I have never seen this with Portman. Also, be careful how ... Read review

Mortgage Products are constantly improving and the rates are not as generous as the high street but the service levels also way exceed the high street. However for flexibility and understanding, ...
