There's only one way that a manufacturer can come up with a motherboard that sells for such a low price, and that's by using every feature that the chipset has to offer without bolting on any extra gadgets. The chipset in on this board is the VIA K8M890 which includes VIA/S3G DeltaChrome graphics (cheap and nasty) and a VT8237R Plus Southbridge. ...
...thoughts for this motherboard are Foxconn has come up with an incredibly cheap AM2 motherboard that offers a full range of integrated features including fairly basic graphics. To get the best from this board you need to use a plug-in graphics card, but even so it's a superb basis for a cheap PC. I paid £30 from a computer show in worcester but they retail at £34 - £39... Great for a First Home-Build or Upgrade

Advantages: Excellent value with quality onboard graphics and sound
Disadvantages: small form factor means not much room to work with

I used one of these for my first attempt at building a PC back in February this year. I bought the retail boxed version of the board, which included a floppy cable, SATA and one IDE cable, plus a setup CD and floppy and I/O panel for the case. The instruction manual was an Adobe file on the support disk, but there was a very good installation poster to work from. ...It uses AMD's socket939 processors (I coupled this with an Athlon64 3500+ and high speed ddr400 memory). The onboard graphic chip - Nvidia 6150 gpu - is better quality than some separate graphics cards, with 128mb of it's own memory, which can be supplemented with system memory up to 256mb. It would struggle with a lot of the high-end games out there today, but I am guessing hardened gamers would look to be paying many times the cost of this board ...

Motherboards 865 Series

Advantages: 8 USB pots, two SATA, 5.1 sound, front audio jacks(expansion), built-in LAN
Disadvantages: 3 PCI slots(it should be atleast 4 or 6), 2 slots for RAM,

I had bought this board after throwing Intel 865GBF in dustbin, it works very nice as compared to Intel 865GBF. As it is built on Intel 865G series but it works good than Intel. I have personally used 3 intel 865GBF and all had a problem in it even one of my friend replaced 5 Intel 865GBF boards because the problems occurs in this board. Intel Extreme series (dp45sg)

Advantages: extreme performer
Disadvantages: doesn't support sli technology

The Intel DP45SG Extreme Series motherboard is an awesome motherboard with some nice features .The Intel DP45SG motherboard runs really great when installed with a intel core 2 extreme processor which is good performer and with this 2 you can play games to a higher level if you combine this 2 with a good high range end graphics card .
