I bought the pink version of this for my 8 month old daughter for christmas and ever since its impossible to keep her out of it!

At £50 this you was not cheap, it does however claim to be suitable from 6months to 3 years, so £50 is reasonable for 2 and a half years of play.

The instructions for putting it together were easy enough to follow (even though i am hopeless at that sort of thing) But some parts needed a considerable amount of pressure to be attached which I found difficult.

The fabric cover is nice and soft but it would have been better to have a wipe clean plastic surface than a fabric one since my daughter likes to smear biscuit on it daily.

The toys on the activity tray aren't that entertaining, the key is hard to turn and the rolling ball has a very short appeal. Luckily for me my daughter is content hitting the horn and dancing to one if its three sounds (two are ordinary beeping sounds, one is a little song)
Some children however may find themselves bored rather quickly.
The toy phone is just a lump of phone shaped plastic, yet my daughter loves it!
It is not very well secured though and often gets lost around the house.

My two main problems with this are firstly - my daughter had escaped from the safety harness within minutes of the first time i sat her in it, though this isn't a major problem since shes always supervised and the sides of the try keep her in anyway (though i can see her getting out in the future!)
Also, as she gets a bit bigger and the tray comes off the harness will be removed anyway, so its not a huge fault.

Secondly this item claims to be suitable for outdoor use, but (though i haven't actually tried it yet) it is not all that robust, its just made of a thin plastic and I can see it being very easily damaged
outside on the pavement

Overall - i think this item is pretty good. My daughter adores it and it will be a treasured toy for a long time yet.(if i don't go insane at the electronic horn noises!)
