Gosh do they still make these I said when my daughter said she had some mother care cotton jersey fitted sheets on the babies cot , you used to sleep on some jersey fitted sheets from mother care when you were a baby 28 yrs ago Ahhh.

Ohh don't they do some pretty colours now. I don't think I could get anything but white. The new sheets are available in white, lemon, cream, and pink and blue.
Mother care makes these sheets to fit a pram or Moses basket, a crib, a cot or a cot bed. Prices range from £6.99p, 7.99p 10,99p and -£14.99p. Respectively for a pack of two sheets. They make a printed ones too, winnie the pooh , Humphreys corner , jungle prints, these are slightly more expensive but really cute .

I would recommend that you start with 4 cot sheets as they may need washing often baby dribble puke, wee and poo
The sheets are made of 100% cotton and do feel quite soft. They are very much like a cotton jersey tee shirt fabric, one advantage is they are stretchy and fit the cot well.

They are machine washable, essential for any baby sheet. And they do not need ironing hurray, who needs extra ironing when they have a baby.
These sheets can either be bought in store or online at http://www.mothercare.com.These sheets do last well will see two babies use if not more, and when they have finished you could use them as rags/ dusters I just checked a few other sites for prices of cot sheets like these kiddicare are about the same price. Other sites I looked at were similar prices check eBay for better prices

I would recommend a few of these sheets even if you then decide to have some flat flannelette sheets as well.

My eldest is 34 and she had ordinary sheets, my youngest always pulled it loose as his cuddle cloth! I think I only had one fitted cot one and mine was white as well! Jo x
