|Value for Money|
I have this changing mat at my house for when I look after my grandchildren. I have had it for three years now and it is just starting to get worse for wear so considering it only cost £10 I think that that is good value for money. We have definitely had a lot of use out of it.It is a normal sized changing mat which is an ideal size as it's not too long that it gets in the way and not too short that your baby soon outgrows it.
It has padded sides around three sides except the bottom and these are slightly raised so that it helps to keep your baby in the middle but also stops any little accidents from managing to go far! It is in the creases where the sides begin where bits can gather though so after every time I've changed one of the babies I make sure I wipe in these creases too to make sure it is very clean. The mat is bright in colour with big jungle animals on it. It is neutral in colour so can be fine for a girl or boy baby and will help add to a nursery if you choose to have a jungle theme.
It is waterproof so you can clean it very easily and it will be fine. I tend to just use baby wipes and give it a quick clean after using it and these always work perfectly fine for this.Over the last month or so it has developed a few cracks in the sides just from the fact it's been used a lot. These cracks are quite sharp so this mat really needs throwing away now but I think after having used it for so long that it has done very well.
Although the sides are slightly raised you should never leave your baby on this unattended especially if they are on a raised surface as they could still roll off.
