When my youngest daughter lily was 10 mths old i was on the lookout yet again for another pram,i was caught on the off to as i had parked up ready to go shopping with my lovely mum (who is always on hand to help)lives around the corner too (handy)when my old pram wouldent open it was completly stuck.
My mum myself two toddlers and a 10 mth old went to the nearest shop in the centre and came across the jive princess stroller it caught my eye because it was a pretty little pink travel pram (with a princess picture on too) also the price £35 was amazing.I wheeled it around the shop, put it up and down a few times to check fold up ease,i found i could do this with one hand and a foot (and holding baby in the other arm(i have to check these things).yes it passed my test,i paid the £35 and off i went, hoping that this pram would last the pace.
We have now had our jive stroller for 6 mths and it certainly has lasted the pace.I have recommended it to friends and they have also been happy with there stroller too.they dont only cater for girls with this stroller either is also has a boys one which is blue and lilac with a cat on.(this is called the jive stroller sport). It's a very nippy little traveller and has been more than worth the money for us.
Now down to the nitty gritty details:
Both the strollers the jive princess and the jive sport are £35 each.
The buggy comes with a 6mth guarentee. It is suitable fron the age of 3 mths, has a multi-position seat, all round suspension, and lockable swivel wheels.
Buggy handles are great and they are grip handles too.i'm 5ft 7 the buggy suited my height,my friend is 5ft 1 she manages ok too.
It comes with a shopping basket underneath(just room for light stuff)i have put heavy stuff in before and one of the poppers that holds the basket came undone so i wouldent recommend to much weight in the basket. Also i would also like to mention that you shouldent hang shopping on the handles as it is a lightweight travel pram and it would tip up with shopping weighing it down.
The handle height is 98.5cm,the weight is 6kg,the folded dimensions are 101.5x28.5 x 5x16cm.
More useful extras:
You have to buy your raincover separate as it is not including in the price, mothercare sell there weathershield raincover for this pram at a price of £12.99,or you can buy a stroller rain cape for the price of £9.99 this is also sold at mothercare.
They also have a matching princess blanket for sale at the price of £10.00,its rolled up with an handle to hang on the pram when not in use.It is a fair size blanket for a one yr old. They do a boys one too and some unisex designs there is quite an assortment in my local mothercare(i personally got my blanket from primark pink with little girls on for £3)
this has been by far the best stroller for me,its easy to carry up steps with a baby in to as its very light,it also fits nicely in the boot of my car(it is umbrella fold style).if you are on the lookout for a stroller then i hope this imformation will be of use to you.
Happy strolling. Thankyou for reading this. paulasue xx
Advantages: Attractive colours, sturdy frame and seat, large underneath compartment for shopping. Disadvantages: Weathershield sold seperately
...new babies. I bought the mothercare jive pushchair because I knew it was only £34.99 from my younger brother, I am 12 years older than him and my mum bought him one that lasted until he was 4 years old with constant use. In my opinion I find that is is a very sturdy pram, it can hold a 4 year old child, numberous bags of shopping and still be used all the time. Appearance - My daughter loved it because you can buy them in a variety of designs and ... ...bright, pretty and doesn't look cheap; it looks sturdy and it is! It appeals to kids because it isn't dull. Ease of use - I found that is is easy to push around, the wheels offer a soft ride for the child and make it easier to turn around even sharp corners in a rush. It easily goes up and down curbs when fully loaded. Age range - It can be used from 4 months onwards. I found this good because before I bought the pram I had to carry my daughter everywhere ...

Advantages: multi adjustable, reclinable and comfortable seat. Disadvantages: 6kg and wheels wear easier than other types
...wheel protector come off, but mothercare ordered me a new one free. The wheels seem to be wearing down quite quickly, or maybe that’s because we use it quite allot more than I thought we would. The weight of the stroller is 6kg, not the lightest of umbrella folding buggies, but I think because of the carry handle, I really don't notice the weight. Also, putting the stroller down takes 2 movements and I find that I have to bend down and use my hands ...

...to be passing my local mothercare and noticed a gorgeous looking pink buggy in the window. I was amazed to see that it only cost £35!
My initial thought was that for that price it would probably be uncomfortable for the baby, hard work to push, and too low for me (I'm 5"10)like most cheaper models are. So I left it.
In the following weeks I saw so many people pushing this exact buggy. They all seemed to find pushing it around easy so I thought ... ...It is available at all mothercare and mothercare world stores nationwide and also on line at www.mothercare.com. If you have it delivered they will charge an additional £3.95.
It is guaranteed for 6 months and it is recommended that either after 18 months, or for use with a different baby you take it instore to be reconditioned.
A new version has just been released. It has a black seat with dalmatian print trims, this costs £40 however.

Advantages: Lightweight, easy to collapse, durable. Disadvantages: Optional hood can make clipping shut harder
I bought my first mothercare jive second hand as a stroller for my 2 year old once my daughter was born. It has been a fantastic stroller which still gets lots of use and has been to Ibiza, Germany and France so far.
Once my daughter got older I bought a pink one for her along with the accessories pack which is the hood, stroller insert and rain shield (£35 for the stroller and £20 for the accesories pack).
The stroller is manageable, lightweight ... ...years (my son still uses his when he's ill and he's 3 ½) Its easy to collapse even one handed while holding a baby. It comes in a range of colours and styles that are constantly being updated and if you don't want to fork out for an accessories pack you can buy a standard universal rain cover (which is about £12.99 at Mothercare) which works just fine.
These strollers are compact when collapsed and I can easily fit 2 into the foot well of my Zafia. ...
