I love this buggy; it was cheap, is multi functional and also makes peoples heads turn. You may not believe that a cheap stroller at £35 can make peoples heads turn, but believe me it is true. Lots of parents have commented on how beautiful the princess stroller is and have asked where I bought it. The stroller is called princess basically because it has a lovely picture of a princess on the front (on the fabric, where the child’s head rests)
Ok the best bits.
The buggy is very pretty and look’s good, and always makes me and my daughter smile when we take it out. My little girl actually chooses to use it instead of her expensive 3 wheeler.
My little girl loves actually driving the buggy by herself and the design lends itself to this. She is actually getting quite good!
The seat is multi adjustable and easy to recline, which is ideal, as my daughter loves sleeping in this buggy for some reason. I may sound surprised and that’s because I am. Before we bought this buggy my daughter never fell asleep in her stroller, but now she can't seem to help herself.
The seat is tilted back so my little girl feels really safe in it, even when going down steep hills. Also, the back of the seat is padded in the middle for extra comfort. The seat possition goes totally upright, so my daughter can get involved and see whats going on and doesn't always look like shes scrunched up, (which is the effect you get with some other cheap stroller, or is this just my experience?)
There is a really useful handle at the back, which makes picking up the collapsed stroller really easy when you only have one hand. For example, when going up steps while holding your toddler in the other arm, or is that just me that gets in those situations?
The wheels are lockable, which makes it really easy to drive and you feel like the buggy wants to go in the same direction as you. Not like other buggies I have tried, that feel they are working against you all the time, (like driving a supermarket trolley!)
There is a shopping basket at the back, which if being really picky could be a little deeper, but to be honest i have found it fine for my bits and bobs and anyway the buggy has two seperate handles so you can hang your shopping bags on these if you get stuck for storage space.
The down sides The only down sides are that the is only a 6 month warranty on this product I have had one wheel protector come off, but mothercare ordered me a new one free. The wheels seem to be wearing down quite quickly, or maybe that’s because we use it quite allot more than I thought we would. The weight of the stroller is 6kg, not the lightest of umbrella folding buggies, but I think because of the carry handle, I really don't notice the weight. Also, putting the stroller down takes 2 movements and I find that I have to bend down and use my hands to collapse it. Putting it up is much easier as you just have to push down with your foot.
The plus’s really out weight any niggles and if I was to have the choice again I would definitely choose to buy this stroller. But, maybe next time I wouldn't bother about buying my 3 wheeler!
