These nappies are shaped terry's which can be fasten either with pins or a nappy nippa. I have heard of people sewing on a apix (like velcro but softer) to make tham more convenient to use. They need to be used either with a waterproof wrap or plastic pants. I found that they washed really well and were quick drying just a little bit longer than the terry squares.
