Advantages easy to apply, pleasant smell and provides instant relief
Disadvantages none

At the same time as purchasing a sun lotion for my daughter when she was of a tender age I hunted in a bargain bin in Mothercare and came up trumps when I found their own brand of soothing aftersun lotion reduced from £4.49 to £2.99 and for a 200ml bottle it was a definite bargain. Not saying that our summers haven't been up to standard but my daughter is now 3 and I still have the very same bargain bottle and it's not through underuse either.
