The flannelette is not fitted, so you can use it as an under sheet if you want - it is big enough, or as an over sheet. You shouldn't put babies under duvet like coverings as they can get to hot, but blankets tend to wander if you have a baby who wriggles a lot. If you fold the top of ... ...away from baby's skin.

...try their sheets - although Mothercare are renowned for being a bit on the pricey side -it seems they have cornered the market for baby bed sheets in my area anyway!.

The bedding is usually sold in packs of 2, then the accompanying fleece or cell blankets or sold in single bundles tied with a piece of ribbon (the presentation of the product ... ...fleece /blanket or sheet depending on which one you go for, but for these you are limited as to the colour combination and are often limited to 'pink', 'blue' or 'white', i wanted something more exciting and different so i went for the individual 'mix and match' option which is available in a god, varied range of colours and textures.

Advantages: A good buy for your child's cot......... Disadvantages: none......
I use a mothercare sheet over my son tucked in around him. He used too push his quilts off, so i compromised and put a thin cover over him, which is tucked in around him. He now sleeps soundly and no waking up cold, as it is tucked in tight enough for him to breathe easily, he cannot kick it off now. So it means a good night sleep for the both of us.
