I was recommended MotherEase nappy wraps by a man in Boots, while I was buying terry squares. I was still pregnant and didn't know about the vast array of modern nappy wraps available so was just going to get some old-fashioned rubber knickers. I'm so glad that man took the time to recommend them. As soon as I got home, I ordered some off the internet. I started out with two plain white and two print wraps. I then patiently waited for my baby to arrive so I could start using them.
They fit perfectly over any kind of nappy. Either terry squares or shaped popper fastening nappies. They are elasticated around the legs and waist and it's easy to get a snug fit with no gaping. They very very very rarely leak. In over two years of use they have never leaked any poo at all (and that includes very runny breastmilk poo!) and the only times they have leaked wee is if my baby has been sleeping laid on her side and has had a massive wee and it's as if the wee has all run to one side and she has been damp around one leg. But that's it, just a bit of dampness. Not a full on leak! Another advantage is that they are slim fitting. My baby is petite and most other nappy wraps are very baggy on her, but MotherEase fit perfectly. I have used a few brands of nappy wraps but these are the most leakproof and best fitting out of all of them.
