Ok the playstation 3 is expensive weighing in at £425 however if you compare just the Basic Hardware with say XBox 360, you will be surprised how cost effective it is.

Over all I would say that the graphics are better on the ps3 than the Xbox and I should know this as I have got an Xbox 360, but it has an added dimension of a control pad with a motion censor and the games are about the same price as the Xbox games which is between £39.99 - £49.99 for a new game.
