after only using sony playstation for so long i was pleasantly suprised with the capability of the xbox-360,
when you get used to the funny control pads they are very good with some good games coming out.
i would definataly advise you to get one whilst there are no good games for the ps3 (and they are very expensive) lost planet is probably the best game i have ever played on.
the range of games is alot more extensive than that of the sony playstation and it is alot cheaper to run.
another great point is that you dont need memory cards as everything is stored on the console itself. you can play dvds but one annoying thing that is hard to belive is that you cant even play your old xbox games. what is that all about?? ...

Ok the playstation 3 is expensive weighing in at £425 however if you compare just the Basic Hardware with say XBox 360, you will be surprised how cost effective it is.
For example the XBox 360 Premium console, has 20 GB hard drive, headset, wireless controller, AV cable.
And costs around £279, if you can wait until 24th August 07 Microsoft have planned to release the Xbox 360 Elite
