VW Westfalia California Exclusive
Advantages: great design, bullet proof build quality, toilet/bathroom/rear kitchen layout Disadvantages: bed below is only 3/4 size, bed in roof is huge
A great looking design, definately a classic for the future. Perfect go anywhere camper with bags of space. Rear bathroom/dressing room, rear kitchen layout, swivel captains seats, great dinnette. Manufactured from 1995 until recently.
only available in left hand drive, nothing compares with this model. The build and quality is fantastic. Double glazed glass, eberspacher night heater, digi control panel, aircon, compressor fridge. 2 tables, one being ... ...huge wardrobe, safe, look great with bike racks and awning
Speak to campervans4u.com before looking elsewhere. The tdi model is still quite expensive and is closer to 20k. The 5 cylinder petrol is far cheaper to buy and worth converting with lpg. see

The Marco Polo V VW T4 California
Advantages: Disadvantages:
A good alternative to the VW T4 Westfalia. prices are a little better because most consumers are not aware of this conversion. Internal space is very good whilst the external dimensions appear smaller, like the tardis effect.and will easily fit into garages and multi storey car parks
Make sure it has the independent heater as this was an option when new. The 122bhp diesel with automatic gearbox is the one to go for, but lesser models with petrol ... ...beds one being in the elevated roof with a thick mattress. To conclude, this is a good looking camper, only recently beaten by the VW t5 california.
you should buy this camper from a westfalia specialist dealer because heaters/fridges/batteries can be very expensive if broken. I have seen one on campervans4u.com website whilst recently searching ...

Volkswagen T25/T3 Holdsworth CamperVan
Advantages: Practical, fun, camper, comfortable, easy to service. Disadvantages: Upgrades are expensive, can be costly to run if you do ALOT of miles.
I've use to only own VW's, one reason for this is other VW users are always friendly, parts are easy to buy and cheap, as long as you know where to look. And if you look after it you should sell it pretty easily, for not much less than you bought for.
This was my third VW. I thought about buying a T2 baywindow camper but after getting into one of these, I changed my mind! The T25/T3 is huge, in comparison. They're cheap..if you look at the other ... ...thousands more! But why should you? Spares are easy to get, although up-grades are very expensive. So make sure if you want power steering+electric windows you buy it with the camper and not try to find someone who'll fit it for you, as it'll eat up your hard-earned cash.
I bought a Holdsworth conversion, left sliding door, being wel built and functional I was pleased.
It's a 1900 petrol 57KW, no worries about power, its got enough and can surprisingly ...

VW Westfalia Sven hedin
Advantages: VW campervan, big enough for shower/toilet/hot water Disadvantages: a bit wider then the t4
the sven hedin is a westfalia model based upon the VWLT28 chassis and the best engine is the 2.4 6 cylinder turbo diesel. The later model to the sven hedin is the Florida which is slighlty better still as it has rear access as well. The sven hedin was produced between 1979 until 1989 and superceded by the florida through to about 95'. Power steering is a must as well as diesel on this model. They are a cult camper amongst the travellers/surfing community ...

Little n Nice
Advantages: Good on fuel economy, Quick Disadvantages: Uncomfortable front seats
We bought this motorhome because we needed one that would fit in our backyard because our previous one kept getting vandalised.
We were actually on holiday when we bought this and were just 'looking'. However when we seen this for the price it was we realised that we may never come accross an opportunity like this again. And so we found ourselves in the office talkin money.
Our first drive in it was the 160 mile trip from the place we bought it ... ...we discovered this vehicles first fault, there was no radio!!
We don't really cover many miles in this vehicles, however every journey that you do make you realise how uncomfortable the seats are in the front of a Renault Traffic.
This vehicle is a four berth, however I would say that it is designed for 4 very small people, and there is only standing space for one person at a time.
The sleeping space above the cab is for either 2 children or one ...
